Supernatural's most recent episode was pretty OK. I do think it was sort of funny and bizarre but the arc part of the episode was so much better than the crack. The wank surrounding this episode is hilarious to read.

I've recently watched all of Lipstick Jungle and I'm sort of surprised to say that it wasn't really that bad. Except I didn't like Brooke Shield's character. At all. Otherwise, it was pretty good.

Sorry I haven't written in a while. RL is crazy and in a few minutes I have to get ready to work.

Lots of love to all of you! :D

I'm finally writing on my essay for Swedish class! You have no idea how much I need to get this finished this weekend. It's going to be like essay boot camp or something like that.

My dad moved their computer into the room I sleep in while I'm here so expect me to be online more now during the weekends I'm here :D

I was at the hospital, getting my treatment (a few shots that they give my leg - might sound a bit weird to you) and well... I was exhausted afterwards and generally the day hasn't been that good, but I'm not bummed about it. C'est la vie. I expect it will get a lot better during tonight. And then I'm going to watch Supernatural! :D :D And the Skins finale!!! :D

Truth be told, the SPN episode doesn't seem to be that good (at least not compared to last week's episode) and Skins... well, I never really got that Effy/Freddie/Cook triangle.
starsthatshine: (spn: a clock is ticking)
And now I have Component! Words cannot express how much I've missed this style. I was under the illusion that it was only paid accounts who could have them, but apparently plus accounts can have them too (even if you can't do much with it and the ad is annoying, it's still an awesome style ;)).

and I am using a Bela/Dean icon, even though I don't necessarily ship them or anything, but it was so deadly pretty and somehow spot on... /random

I wrote a Morgana fan fic which you are more than welcome to view here. (based on the BBC show Merlin)

I've caught up with True Blood (although I still haven't seen 1x06, I watched 1x07, because I knew what the sixth episode was going to be about/what would happen etc.) and Merlin and... yeah. Smallville I've also seen and Supernatural. Ugly Betty. I'm a multitasking person :D

Btw, huge welcome to [livejournal.com profile] humbuggirl to my flist. I hope you'll have a most pleasant stay here :D

Random thought of the day: How come people can't be as romantically inclined in real life as they are on TV? It seems kind of... like people are missing things, if you know what I mean.

No one probably cares about this but for some reason my CD player (erhm, okay my twin's CD player which I've sort of "borrowed") refuses to play Josh Groban's Awake album. It can read his 'Josh Groban' album and the CD of 'Awake Live' but apparently has some sort of problem with 'Awake'. Anyone know why?

I've had a lot of time to contemplate 3x15 of Supernatural so therefore... a bit of musing from me ;)

Supernatural: 3x15 - Time Is On My Side )

Any recs?

I'm really in the mood to print out some fan fictions and keep it in this folder that I have so I can read good fics without having to go online or such. Or keep like an archive of good fics on my computer. And therefore I'm asking you whether or not you have any favourites in these fandoms that you think I could enjoy:

Doctor Who (Doctor/Rose or gen, Master/Lucy), Supernatural (gen and/or Sam/Ruby), Gossip Girl (Eric & Chuck friendship, Chuck/Blair, Blair/Nate, Vanessa/Dan, Vanessa/Nate), X-Files, Sarah Connor Chronicles (John/Cameron, Cameron/Derek or some sort of triangle), Smallville (Clark/Lois, Lois/Oliver, Lois & Jimmy), Torchwood (Ianto/Jack, Ianto/Owen, Owen/Tosh, Ianto/John - haha, just something I thought of - oh the plot bunnies I just had), Ugly Betty (Betty/Gio), Criminal Minds (Reid, gen), Life on Mars (gen, Sam/Annie), Veronica Mars (Veronica/Weevil, Veronica/Lamb, Veronica/Duncan, Veronica/Piz, gen), Battlestar Galactica (Gaius/Six), Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel (I guess I can read anything but Spuffy and/or Angel/Cordelia at this point).

Also, huge happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] missambs :D
starsthatshine: (moonlight: i feel the touch)
I loved Supernatural. Loved. Loved. Loved. The epic kind of love that only comes from really really good TV.

I only have one comment to say to sum up the entire episode )
starsthatshine: (office: vi skulle passa bra ihop)
I joined [livejournal.com profile] summerwrite and I have absolutely no idea what I'm getting myself into but I thought it would be fun. Although I have to figure out a plot, I'm optimistic because I'm going to France later, as some of you might remember, and I'm sure that'll leave me with some experiences I want to get down on paper. Also, summer has a tendency to bring out the storyteller in me.

I think I need to clear out the communities I've joined lately because the other day I hadn't checked my flist for two days and I couldn't go further back than 980 and I still hadn't caught up on everything. Man, I didn't even know you couldn't see anything beyond page 980.

Also, there's a Supernatural friending meme going on here. I joined, you should too ^^

Now it's Supernatural time - YAY! :D

Today I'll later to go a friend of mine's and we'll have a movie night and I'll sleep over there which I hope is gonna be nice. I always freak out and regret the plans I've made when it comes to socialising but that's not because I don't wanna hang with those people but because... I'd rather stay at home. Sorta. I have a complicated relationship with myself. ^^

It's such a lovely weather :D
starsthatshine: (bsg: metal heart)
It's kind of ridiculous how excited I am to see the Twilight movie. And I hated the books. Clearly something is wrong. What kind of mind power do they have on me?

Supernatural tomorrow (or today? I dunno, I'm just checking my flist and people were mentioning it and I just had to say that I'm really excited as well - I've missed the Winchester boys).

I'm still struggling with trying to connect to Internet on my SuSe computer and I have no idea how. Seriously. It's a mystery to me. I have a rough idea, but nothing substantial or anything like that. I'm gonna try some more but I really need some help, although sadly, [livejournal.com profile] computer_help and [livejournal.com profile] computerhelp remain sadly silent. We'll see.

Also, did I mention I sort of love those communities? After having repetitve problems with my computer I say that there should be a general computer help support that you could call if you have troubles with your computer. Don't you agree?

Internet seems to FINALLY BE WORKING NOW!!!! :D - on my laptop, but still, that's better than no Internet at all. Oh online world, how I've missed thee.

Oh, SCC being renewed for a new season? Best news today, even though it's expected, I'm very happy.
starsthatshine: (scc: treading careful ground)
What should I write about? Well, [livejournal.com profile] charmedgirl08 added me - welcome to my flist :D I hope you'll have an excellent time here. When I get home I think I'll write on my Supernatural fan fic till my sister comes. I also need to figure out a name for the whole thing. I also need to continue on the X-Men fan fiction I'm writing (Rogue/Wolverine) and I'm thinking about writing a longer Sarah Connor Chronicles fic. It seems as though science fiction is my piece of pie lately.

I'm sitting here with the application form for the courses I'm going to take next year. I'm only "allowed" to choose 150 points (but I don't have to choose anything since I already have enough points) but I want to take courses for 350 points and even though I probably can, chances are it's going to be too much and I had plans on making the third year somewhat less... hectic. And that goal will be impossible with 350 points over average.

At first I had plans only to take Spanish and Psychology B but then I thought it was too little, and I thought: "Hey, History B sounds like something up my alley" and I added that to my list. And then I realized that I would miss Niklas' lessons (he's my Maths teacher) so I added Maths B as well. And that is 350 points.

*headdesk* What to do? I'm in such a predicament.
starsthatshine: (bsg: metal heart)
I seemed to have missed quite a lot during my... few hours of absense. Firstly, has Gossip Girl aired? Wow, how did I miss this? Also, Supernatural airs soon does it not?

Also, speaking of Supernatural, I've started writing a fic now. It's gen, mostly but with certain Sam/Ruby undertones because otherwise I wouldn't be able to do the storyline I wanted. I've never written Ruby before but it's actually really fun. Also, once you get past the whole 'it's so intimidating' phase of writing Supernatural fiction, it's actually really fun. Not that I'm any good. I think the story is sort of growing into its own although the beginning is quite crap.

I also watched Scarecrow the other day (still on Supernatural mode here ^^) and I love this show so badly. Especially Dean, also I'm quite surprised at myself for not disliking Sam as I usually do. I remember season one I had some very decisive opinions about the younger Winchester but right now I seem to have... lost 'em.

So how are you? I'm about to have French and I'm sensing that it's going to be... Interesting. Also, the date for going to France has been set. 14th of May till the 21st of May I'll be in Brest, surrounded by French. *is scared* I'm excited but dangerously scared of the flying bit.
starsthatshine: (spn: hello gorgeous)
I fixed up a header in my journal. [livejournal.com profile] aliasagent Suddenly it feels very Supernatural-y - I love it! :D

So school starts again today. We start with the National exam speeches (already done mine, score!) and then proceed with lunch and then later English, Spanish and PE. For PE we're learning the dance from Dirty Dancing. Sort of fun.

Now for the five million dollar question: what will I do when I get home, you ask? Well, probably 1x05 and 1x06 of Fixer and then probably work on my French review (ugh, sometimes I really don't like my French teacher and her way of being). If I have any extra time, then I'll see a season one episode of Supernatural. Probably Dead In The Water ♥ .

Do you have any idea of how much I want season two of Supernatural? So much that it's almost physically painful. It costs 399 SEK on Discshop.se and I want it soooo bad. I hate money and I hate not being able to get them either. I think S2 of Supernatural is going to be the only thing I wish for my birthday (it's the 13th of July).
starsthatshine: (cm: reid)
Has anyone seen ITV's The Fixer? I find it sort of interesting. I really like the main character (John Mercer), Liz White's character and the sidekick ;) It's such a pretty show with a pretty cast (excluding Rose, I don't like her at all - unless with Douglas). Just look at the main character (in a moment where he's being badass):

I really feel like writing a Supernatural fan fiction. It's such a shame that I feel like I can't write for the fandom. I can't figure out a plot. The storylines are so awesome in the show that I feel like a fan fic can't measure up.
starsthatshine: (scc: treading careful ground)
I thought I'd lost my cellphone for a few horrible ten minutes. But it was found. I swear, I need to clean my room. I might do it today. I'm such a lazy ass and you know that whole idea that girls are supposed to be all proper and clean? Well, I'm the complete opposite. My room is a mess and I think my idea of heaven would be to be constantly clean without any effort.

Aaaanyway, I'm catching up on the Office and it's kinda funny. Sometimes.

Any suggestions as to how I can get a pretty layout? Supernatural for the win but I lack the skill to make a pretty layout. I would love to have a layout with Sam, Dean, Ruby, Bela and the Impala (I think I like the possibility Bela could have as a character but so far, she's well... she deserves some more screen time. I think she has the potential to be really good if given the chance).

Also I'm in the market for a pretty mood theme. Suggestions?
starsthatshine: (spn: dean wtf?)
I've decided since like I'm the only one that hasn't watched a single episode of Sex and the City, I thought I'd start now. I just watched the pilot and I'm at the beginning of the second episode. It's really interesting, it has some potential. I can get why people began to hype it so much.

I don't know why but every time I see an icon of Doctor Who, especially of David Tennant, I feel like posting something. I kinda love it.

Another thing I also really love today: my little sister. I haven't seen much of her today but she's in a good mood and she made chocolate balls (which I've been eating like crazy - I'm telling you, I'm gaining pounds by the second ;))

I was looking at the Office and it struck me how INCREDIBLY similar a guy in my class is to John Krasinski (for those of you who go in my class, you know Johan? I think he's really similar) not only physically but also a little bit in his mannerism. I don't know him so well so I can comment on his personality but... I don't know, something about him just strikes me as Jim-ish. I don't think you can find a closer Jim lookalike in real life, at least not around here.

Sometimes I really want to write a Supernatural fic but you know... Am I the only one who feels that the show is so awesome that it feels like you're... spoiling a perfect product? I mean, like you can't compete with the product they produce so, why bother? You know?

Am I alone in this feeling? I sort of makes me wish Supernatural was a bit more... bad, as horrible as it sounds. That way I would be able to write fic. :P
starsthatshine: (mars: hello mrs wallace)
Still pulling out a general request of a header to my journal to whoever feels charitable ;) Fandoms: Doctor Who, Veronica Mars, Supernatural, Life on Mars, X-Men, Sarah Connor Chronicles and/or X-Files. I'd love to have at least three different fandoms in the header. (Sorry if I'm being a pain, I hope I'm not :))

Huge happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] feminosity.

I'm suppose to write a speech for Swedish class based on the theme Truth and Fiction, which is easier said than done. I'm in sheer panic-mode. I'm supposed to be prepared tomorrow and I don't even have a SUBJECT. And to make things even more hellish, I'm suppose to use the material which exists in a little leaflet and it's close to impossible.

We had a UN roleplay yesterday at school and I was a delegate for Saudi Arabia and according to various, completely unrelated comments, I was best dressed. Awesomeness.

Still here

I'm absolutely horrible in terms of posting right now, and commenting, but I caught up with my flist today and I at least managed to write a few comments. That's something, non? Anyway, this RPG business at various boards really got me hooked, but since it takes so long to get a biography approved and everything, I'm suspecting it's just a passing fling. LJ IS MY ONE TRUE LOVE. Seriously, most places I have phases whether or not I post and stuff like that but LJ is just one of those things that I'm always at. Generally. It's not like I stopped posting and stuff like that and I think it's partly because I have such an amazing flist. ILU. You make LJ awesome.

One thing I haven't mentioned is that I tried again for the second time to get hooked on Blood Ties. And you know what? This time it worked. I think it was because of Joya's encouraging remarks about the show that made me sit through the first painful minutes of the show. Henry Fitzroy is such an awesome vampire but this whole business that was around 1x08 made me a little... annoyed, but hopefully, things will improve episode 9. Poor Mike though.

I really wanna like, get into the whole The Tudors business but I don't know... is it any good?

Anyway, Ep 9 is down of Sarah Connor Chronicles. Just waiting for Ep 8 now. This show is so definitely going to be a DVD purchase for me ♥ as well as Supernatural Season Three.
starsthatshine: (gossip: something beautiful)
It kinda hurts having six userpics. I know that if I ever get any kind of money (or well... a credit card), I'll invest in more userpics because having to choose between the.... X amount of icons I have saved (I think it's actually up to something like 7000 without being dramatic) is torture. All those Sarah Connor Chronicles, X-Files, X-Men, Doctor Who, Being Human, Gossip Girl, Supernatural etc. icons that I have to pass down because of the lack of space :( Woe. I don't know why but sometimes it's just... liberating on such trivial matters as a shortage of icon space.

Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] coffeegirl18, I hope you have an amazing one.

Things to do this week:

- Finish that History paper I've so glamorously "forgotten"
- Do Spanish test
- Read "Seven Spiritual Laws to Success" (pfft, I like reading those sorts of things because well... it's an interesting read)
- Do a 'Why we should all watch Being Human'-post
- Finish the second last episode of season one of X-Files and start on the second season. Oh, Krycek, I can't wait for your evil face to appear on my screen ♥
- Do English test
- Do Being Human icons
- Work on my John/Cameron fansite (anyone interested in giving a hand?)

Anyway, as you might imagine, I will have quite a few things to do, although most of these things probably won't take long. And therefore, I'm going to ask anyone, who is willing, to give me a plot which I will write a story out of. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just so that I'll start writing something. Preferably something fantasy/young adult/supernatural thingy because well... I feel like writing something like that.

I don't know why but I became in the mood of writing something corny like:
Kevin, a seventeen year old vampire lord, has to battle with English tests, hormones, a coven of angry, vengeful witches and, of course, another clan of vampires moving in on his territory.

lol. I amuse myself. Anyone interested in reading that? I guess I'm looking for something to write where I don't have to be 100% serious all the time.

Oh, and I finished reading 'Le Mur' of Jean-Paul Sartre (easy reader!French, of course, since I'm not that strong in the French language) YAY! :D It's about three prisoners, right?, that get sentenced to death during the Fascism (is that the correct term for that period of time?) and this one guy is being sentenced to death because he refuses to give the military information of the whereabouts of someone and just as he's about to get executed he gives the military false information, thinking it would be funny to send them on a wild goose chase, but he ends up not being executed because it turns out they found the guy at the location he said. Did I understand the story correctly?
