I really need a Reid icon.

Title: A Bit of Saving Grace
Pairing: Gen but with Morgan/Garcia hints. Morgan/Garcia/Hotch friendship
Rating: PG
Spoilers: 4x01 Mayhem
Summary: After 4x01, Morgan tries to help Hotch cope.
Notes: This is my first Criminal Minds fanfic. I suppose I could've continued this but... I don't know, I somehow felt like it was a good place to stop. It's only 940 words and slightly unbeatad but I hope you'll enjoy :D

Where're we going?  )

Aside from school work, there's surprisingly little going on with me. I'm waiting for my reference letter from my English teacher (if you want, I could post it here since I'm a big fan of sharing stuff) and aside from that, I'm pretty much done, which is fantastic. Soon I will send my applications in and while I am confident that I will be offered a place somewhere, I'm still a little bit nervous since my mother told me that if I get in, she won't be able to provide for me. Which makes me think that if I for some reason don't get in, which I seriously hope not, I'll study at a Swedish university since my mother says that she cannot provide for me if I don't move out. Which is understandable because of our shitty government (sorry if any Swedes here like Moderaterna, but... I seriously don't. Feel free to talk Swedish politics in the comments, I'd love to hear your point of view even if it's not my own - or if it's like mine - I'm just generally interested in politics).

Anyway, aside from school, I've been watching some Criminal Minds and I made a small picspam.

Mini picspam of random episode: 3x06 )

I'm really in the mood to print out some fan fictions and keep it in this folder that I have so I can read good fics without having to go online or such. Or keep like an archive of good fics on my computer. And therefore I'm asking you whether or not you have any favourites in these fandoms that you think I could enjoy:

Doctor Who (Doctor/Rose or gen, Master/Lucy), Supernatural (gen and/or Sam/Ruby), Gossip Girl (Eric & Chuck friendship, Chuck/Blair, Blair/Nate, Vanessa/Dan, Vanessa/Nate), X-Files, Sarah Connor Chronicles (John/Cameron, Cameron/Derek or some sort of triangle), Smallville (Clark/Lois, Lois/Oliver, Lois & Jimmy), Torchwood (Ianto/Jack, Ianto/Owen, Owen/Tosh, Ianto/John - haha, just something I thought of - oh the plot bunnies I just had), Ugly Betty (Betty/Gio), Criminal Minds (Reid, gen), Life on Mars (gen, Sam/Annie), Veronica Mars (Veronica/Weevil, Veronica/Lamb, Veronica/Duncan, Veronica/Piz, gen), Battlestar Galactica (Gaius/Six), Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel (I guess I can read anything but Spuffy and/or Angel/Cordelia at this point).

Also, huge happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] missambs :D

Criminal Minds 3x10 True Night )

I love this show. I've been spending my break watching season one on DVD (I'm on my second go now since I'm also rewatching with my mother) and now I'm desperately itching to get the second season on DVD. Seriously. Although sadly I can't afford it. Which sucks. A lot. DVD sales, where art thou? I need my CM fix. It's a really addictive show but I guess that's because the tone of the characters are just right and goes together in this delightful mix that you can spend all eternity watching ;) (do bare in mind that there's some creative exaggeration on my part because I think any show, no matter how awesome, would get tiresome if you watched it for all eternity)

I'm really interested in installing Linux/SuSE on my computer I have at home. The last time I installed or reinstalled or whatever the computer was back in 2002, which is a really long time ago and well... Linux is a very shiny program which I like. The only problem is that the version my dad uses is a little bit weird because it doesn't allow us to install any programs or play media files. Which is sort of what is necessary for me in order to function in Internet world. But Linux is so shiny and a lot more safe than Windows. And if I install Linux, I won't be able to go back to Windows.

What am I going to do? I really want to have Linux, but if I can't play media files or install anything, I might just die. Basics such as Firefox or Opera or anything like that would be gone.

What do you think? Any ideas of what might cause this inability to install programs or play media files? As far as I know, we've tried everything.

Oh, I forgot to tell you all, the last couple of days I've spent either watching Criminal Minds (I bought season one :D) or having my nose pressed against a psychology book reading about Freud and all these interesting things. I don't even have psychology until next semester, but I love the idea of understanding people.

Do you have any good suggestions as to what kind of books that are a good read if you're interested in Psychology? Like... text books and stuff.

I saw the pilot of New Amsterdam today (and I have to use this icon since... you know, one immortal to another ;)) and I have to say I liked it. It's really worth a watch, I think. I'm gonna catch the other episodes later.

More detailed thoughts of 1x01 of New Amsterdam although nothing really spoilery )

I also saw Criminal Minds today and OMG! Garcia! The next episode is 'Penelope' and my sister has to basically glue me to the sofa to keep me from watching next week's episode online. Not fair ending with such a cliffhanger. Minor note )

I've decided that I'm going to watch more television on, well, television. It might seem like a stupid thing to say but the truth is I've more or less stopped watching what airs around here. And what am I going to watch? Well, I was thinking Criminal Minds (♥), CSI NY (I saw it aired yesterday) and Gossip Girl.

Also, I think I'm getting sick. My throat feels clogged. I really hope I'm not getting sick. J'espère je ne suis pas malade. Or something. Can you write it like that? Feels weird. Also, for those who knows, how come that for example in A Very Long Engagement they say "J'ai pas faim" instead of "Je n'ai pas faim"?

I'm back!

I decided to return from my hiatus. Not quite sure if I've got enough rest but I miss you guys and with new obsessions coming on, I just have to squee with someone.

I saw the latest Supernatural episode and DAMN, it was awesome! Is there someone on my flist that doesn't watch this show? For the first time, I hope not to get any answers to that question because everyone should. It's so... awesome beyond words. I think that the show has really developed. Season one was mostly about the legends and stuff (which was awesome), then season two came with all the emotions (it was good but imo it was a little bit much) and now season three is like a delicious mix between those two. ♥ Guess what I'm going to purchase?

To buy list:

  • Supernatural Season Three DVD

  • Criminal Minds Season One DVD

  • X-Files Season Three and Four DVD

As you can see, I've started to love a special genre of shows.

I bought some clothes yesterday from H&M, all in brown, yellow and white. 70's haha! Anyway, I'm going to go to my grandmother so that she can fold up the pants because, as always, they were too long. (Does that never happen to everyone? Seems like everyone I know have to fold up their pants) And I managed to get a hold of a long-sleeved white normal top - they're not extinct! :D I had almost lost hope.
