I've decided since like I'm the only one that hasn't watched a single episode of Sex and the City, I thought I'd start now. I just watched the pilot and I'm at the beginning of the second episode. It's really interesting, it has some potential. I can get why people began to hype it so much.

I don't know why but every time I see an icon of Doctor Who, especially of David Tennant, I feel like posting something. I kinda love it.

Another thing I also really love today: my little sister. I haven't seen much of her today but she's in a good mood and she made chocolate balls (which I've been eating like crazy - I'm telling you, I'm gaining pounds by the second ;))

I was looking at the Office and it struck me how INCREDIBLY similar a guy in my class is to John Krasinski (for those of you who go in my class, you know Johan? I think he's really similar) not only physically but also a little bit in his mannerism. I don't know him so well so I can comment on his personality but... I don't know, something about him just strikes me as Jim-ish. I don't think you can find a closer Jim lookalike in real life, at least not around here.

Sometimes I really want to write a Supernatural fic but you know... Am I the only one who feels that the show is so awesome that it feels like you're... spoiling a perfect product? I mean, like you can't compete with the product they produce so, why bother? You know?

Am I alone in this feeling? I sort of makes me wish Supernatural was a bit more... bad, as horrible as it sounds. That way I would be able to write fic. :P

John Krasinski is ADORABLE. Sometimes, my boyfriend reminds me a bit of him...sometimes.

He really is, although it would appear as though in the fourth season of the Office, his character has really little to do.

You're very lucky to have a boyfriend that reminds you of him (or anyone at all I think, here there's like... three women on every good guy).

I need to see the second season of The Office soon!

About Sex and the City, while I don't think it's a masterpiece I watched it if it was on TV and I had time. I like the final seasons better than the first ones and I'm looking forward to seeing the movie when it's out. :)

You haven't seen it? You must! Season two is gold.

I've started watching it and it's kinda addictive and funny. Not a masterpiece but entertaining. I love how it's only an half hour (is the show always going to be half an hour?) because that way you can work through the episodes really fast.

I've only seen the first season, then we started to marathon the UK version. Tim/Dawn was so perfect at the end of the series and from season 1 of the US version I already loved Jim/Pam so I'm hoping for more of them.

The half hour length does well for Sex and the City, otherwise I think it would have felt draggy and I would have gotten tired of it. It stays like that for the rest of the series. I like this too about The Office actually.

I see you've seen the cute Lois/Jimmy scene too in Descent. ;) Even though I don't ship them I love their scenes together.

I never got into the UK version. I think it was because they spoke too low. The Office is more... loud though, and that works for me. UK seems more... glum somehow.

They were really cute. I think they are definitely superadorable but as with most people who are men and friendly and awesome with Lois, I could consider it as a ship :P Like, a one-sided crush on Jimmy's part.

IMO, the difference between the two versions is that the US one is more like a black comedy, while the UK one is more focused on showing the dreary, somewhat depressing office life.

I think Jimmy having a crush on Lois is pretty fitting, but it's more like a boyhood, admiring crush than "secetly in love" crush (like what Chloe felt for Clark) if that makes sense.

Yeah, I can see that.

I think so too. Didn't Jimmy have a crush on Lois is some of the Superman versions? If it was the TV show or something I can't remember. but yeah "admiring crush" I definitely wouldn't say no to, in the future when Chloe is not around (personally I don't understand the general Chloe love this fandom feels).

I think Jimmy has had a crush on Lois in some other show or movie.. can't remember which either. I think it's pretty cute even though I ship Jimmy/Chloe.

I didn't like Chloe until season 5 when Chloe prooved to be a true friend to Clark. I liked her a lot more when she started to give up on Clark but still being there for him as a friend. That's why I don't like Clark/Chloe, because it would cheapen Chloe as a character if she protected Clark just because she was in love with him. IMO Clark/Chloe was over by season 5 (despite the kiss but they never followed up on that) which was when Chloe began to grow as a character.
