starsthatshine: (flowers: wtf?)
Ok, I'm sitting here eating dinner (pasta and meat balls - AGAIN! Only fourteen meat balls left... Maybe tomorrow... I will eat something other than meat balls. But I love them, we're just going through a rough patch) and I don't know... because of my sometime obsessive persona, I've gone on a little photoshopping spree and I'm loving Boys over Flowers. I've watched all the episodes that have aired so far (how looooong till the next episode I ask, how loooong?) and I've even managed to get some art done. But right now I have to admit that I'm really hoping to share this show with you so therefore I introduce.... My Introduction Guide to Boys Over Flowers. Warning for potential crap.

Introduction Guide to Boys Over Flowers )

Today has been a day of financial woe, as those of you who have read my entries today have been very much aware of. I promise I'm not usually this dramatic (and I'm still working on that About Me post...) and well... it all started with me showing my grandmother where me and my sister are going to be, at least where we think we'll be, and we started to look on accommodation costs and so forth and therefore, I had all of this economy angst. It's somewhat more stable now though.

And thankfully, [livejournal.com profile] fridizh brightened my day by inviting me to her house in Nordmaling on Saturday and those who helped during my panic attack with the tuition fees are complete angels. Without you, I'd probably be sitting in a corner somewhere, crying because I was so afraid.

And because of this mess with the economy, I've decided to structure my life more properly. I'm going to stop feeling sorry for myself and try to do something about my situation. I'm going to apply for a job (there's this thing on [insert day] that I'm going to go to). Sometimes when life really seems to attack me on all angles, I get this 'lay down and pretend to be dead' response and sometimes, most often, I get a 'let's do something constructive of this' response. When it comes to getting a job, I'll most likely do the first and feel sorry for myself. When it's uni, I'll get the second response.

As I mentioned before, pre all my financial talk, I've started to watch Boys over Flowers, and I adore it even though I've already seen the Japanese one, and now I've got my sister hooked on it as well! :D Score! :D
starsthatshine: (merlin: i think i'm gonna cry)
I'm watching the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango, Boys over Flowers and I have to say that I completely adore it. It's like the most delicious hilarity, exaggerated drama and sweeeeeet romance all rolled into one lovely show. I've "only" seen three episodes so far but I think I like it much more than the original. ♥
starsthatshine: (iswak: always with you)
I just finished my first Korean drama: My Love Patzzi. 13 lovely episodes and I figured I'd post a review. Of course, I won't tell you all about the ending so I'll try to be as vague as possible as I try to convert you all into watching this show (even if you don't usually watch Asian dramas ;))

J'ai commoncé regarder un drama qui s'appelle My Love Patzzi. Je l'aime beaucoup parce que c'est très mignon. For those who don't read French I just said that I've started to watch a drama called My Love Patizzi and I like it a lot because it's really cute. I'm going to try and watch a few episodes later today and then I have to earn 200 SEK cleaning the house today after school. Money I think I'm going to spend on something but I'm not sure.

I had this post about things you usually don't and these are my answers:

I would like to know your thoughts about online drama and the affects it has on people who are behind the screens
I'm starting to think that the online drama over things are really riddiculous and overrated. I know I'm kind of a part of it but i'm trying to not... you know, hype that much about shows any more (although I won't keep that promise for long since I tend to get very invested in things). But generally, I think that if a show has an idea or a vision I don't think they should bother much with what the viewers think. The thing about TV is that it's supposed to tell a story and if that story is stopped or fundementally changed because of what the viewers think, then the show should just go off air instead. I don't know... something like that. Dunno if that makes sense.

TSCC and why it should be given a second season
One sentence will sum up my view: Have you watched the show?

Religion and atheist
Religion I think is something extremely important and I think it's definitely something that you shouldn't decided on before you know yourself. I'm not a fan of people raising their children into a certain belief and I believe that every person should find their own path in life and should not be pressured into anything by their parents.

You have to excuse my short entries but hopefully you understand me and my... shortness.

I changed my layout.

Sorry I haven't been around for the last couple of days but I've been extremely busy with my Asian shows with watching Smiling Pasta. It's sort of decent. It was very addictive but now as I'm approaching the end, as it is with a lot of Asian dramas, it becomes quite tiresome, but we'll see. It makes me wanna rewatch ISWAK.

I'm really happy about the approaching start of Gossip Girl episodes. These pictures make me so happy (spoilers I suppose but since it's sort of vague and out of context and just pictures I wouldn't say that they are high up on the spoiler scale). Damn GG for being such a pretty cast.

Also, I'm trying to work out how to start vlogging, or at least I hope so. The problem is that I babbel and since I'm holding the cellphone while I talk, it's sort of difficult to like... express emotions because you're sort of watching yourself while you talk and that's a weird experience. Definitely not to be recommended ;)

Also, there's some drama going on with my mom that's sort of made me a bit absent from LJ business, but hopefully you guys understand. We'll see if I feel like explaining.

Tomorrow I'll start that whole "blog about something you usually don't talk about" thing and then you'll get your answers ;) For those who want me to comment on something, you just need to go back one or two entries and comment there, or comment in this post :D I'd love more and more subjects to talk about :D

I'm gonna try and catch the two last episodes of Moonlight now.

I started watching some Asian dramas again yesterday. Oh well, I watched the first episode and I suddenly realized that I would love to get my hands on some good dramas (like It Started With A Kiss, The Prince Who Turned Into A Frog etc.) and therefore, I ask help of you, flist, I know some of you like Asian stuff (sorry for not being more well-read on this but I can't tell a band member from a TV star) and I figured you might be of assistance. I like the story of cute, almost fairytale-like dramas that are sweet. I don't really like the sort of angsty stuff.

I'm also gonna try and catch up on the Office. Dunder Mifflin has missed me ;)

Cut for uninteresting 'do I need to work-out' babble )

Edit: Also, ISWAK 2? When, where, how? I've heard that the first episode is up but has the entire show been subtitled yet? I don't wanna start watching unless all the episodes are available (in case I grow like... addicted again).
