I absolutely love Jane Austen's novels. I really, really do. They are written so beautifully with sentences that make me so envious of her writing that I don't dare to write anything myself. The sentences are just so beautiful and the books give me such anxiety (if anyone of you were around the first time I had my Austen-flu, you remember that I constantly begged for spoilers to the books I was reading because I got so anxious and torn between which of the suitors I would like or not, because I couldn't decide to like one of them and then the character would choose the other), as any good book should. Now I'm planning on buying a few more books (I already have Mansfield Park) and I can't buy them all because I'm terribly short on money - as always. So I need to select a few out of all those that are available.

I saw the 2008 adaption of Sense and Sensibility and I fell in love. Again. Although this time, I was as ever torn between Willoughby and Col. Brandon and well... Oh man, those Austen books really make me anxious for some reason. I really want to see the '95 adaption though, because it seems so awesome and with Alan Rickman as Col. Brandon, I'm sure I can appreciate his character even more.
