Small notes about fun things from me
Mar. 17th, 2008 06:44 pmYesterday I got this sudden urge to buy The Office on DVD. And when I say the Office, I mean the first and second season. They were super, not that the other seasons weren't great, but well... I don't remember much from season three, to be honest, and I think I need to rewatch. Anyway, I got that sudden urge and I checked up on prices, only to learn that of course I can't afford it *sigh* But anyway, Jim/Pam are so adorable, but of course there are lots of things that are wonderful about The Office besides that but they are kind of... I want my own Jim, you know? At least S1 and S2!Jim. S3!Jim was still cute but I don't know... as I said, don't remember much about that season.
I really feel like creating a RPG or something and create a character using Ariel Lin as character face. She might not be the prettiest girl around but she's pretty in the sense that she isn't perfect and she just has that adorable quality to her that I like. Anyway, anyone feel like creating some sort of RPG with me with original characters and stories of our own making?Suddenly the idea of having a Swedish RPG pops into my head and it seems oddly tempting, although I would adore to write an English one
Anyway, now I gotta go and figure out if I wanna watch a movie (and if so, what movie?) or if I wanna write a paper or if I wanna watch some Asian drama (maybe some more ISWAK, but I really wish I'd find another Asian drama to get obsessed by).

Swedish literature and great music
Mar. 16th, 2008 07:59 pmI've decided to rewatch It Started With A Kiss (check it out on YouTube, y'all! :D) because it's so extremely lovely. ♥ I also came across this icon - pretty ship, non? :D
Edit: I've forgotten how much Zhi Shu's mother owns. Seriously. She kicks butt ♥ Also, Ariel sort of looks like a goldfish, I think - she's really adorable :P
Anyhow, I think I'm going to watch an episode or two and then I'm going to read some from Stieg Larsson's "Flickan som lekte med elden" ("The Girl Who Played With Fire") - the prologue was really disturbing, which I think really shows what an awesome writer he was (one of my favourite Swedish authors, if not the favourite) but I can't help but groan every time he writes the male character. God, he's such... Why is it that every Swedish author feels like creating some sort of... Casanova when it comes to their male characters? They have to be all butch, women have to fall all over them etc. and it just... bothers me. Male characters in Swedish literature are stone cold in Swedish literature, they are filled with domestic problems (usually going through a divorce or children that doesn't want to speak with them, which they are usually fine with), they've had at least one office romance and the person still caries a torch for them somehow etc.
*groan* Swedish (adult) literature is so unimaginative, but when it comes to the crime bits and writing the female character, I think Stieg Larsson really manages to write extremely well.
Also, I think everyone should listen to this ♥
It's a Swedish group who's called Nordman. They are amazing and my mother (and the rest of my family) are huge fans. It doesn't matter if you understand the words (even if they are awesome) - just listen to the voice *drool*

Still among the living
Sep. 24th, 2007 06:27 amI'm still a bit MIA (you might've noticed) but that is because I'm addicted. Sadly, when I'm addicted, I neglect everything besides the object of my addiction. And this time the villain is Goong. I mean, the main character's clothes are to DIE for! *drools* Makes me want to buy... a lot. Remember those requests? I will try to get them done by next week (remember what I said about neglections?)
This week is going to be a killer. At least according to my sister. Lots of tests and things but I'll try to be calm. But if the French test is this week, you can imagine that my calm will go right through the window. Seriously, I would suffer serious malfunction and freak out.
Well... And later I will try to see the end of ISWAK (final episode to go!), the last three of The Prince Who... and the final five (lmao, Battlestar Galactica reference if I'm not mistaken) of Goong. ♥ Then it's time for the American shows again.
I must say I will miss my fairytale like shows.
TODAY I HAVE ENGLISH!!! YAY!! (although we'll probably end up doing absolutely nothing :( )

Sep. 4th, 2007 08:05 pmI'm getting better at the whole commenting deal. Still a little rusty but I don't want to lose touch with any of you (some of you I haven't spoken to in forever! I really miss talking to you guys). I've decided that after a lot of contemplating to buy the Heroes Season One DVD (but now as I'm typing it, I'm becoming uncertain again). I love Supernatural, I really do, but I can't afford both and I saw a bit of the episode 'Hiros' yesterday and I got hooked. A bit. I liked it. Supernatural S2 is too emotional for me, somehow in a bad way, right now for me to be able to watch it. Thinking of each episode (except the funny ones) makes my heart hurt. I just have enough drama and stuff around me right now to appreciate it. Right now I'm in a "light" mood. Which is probably why I spend my time watching It Star... I'm not gonna mention that show in this entry, I promise ;) and The Prince Who Turned Into Frog (I'm still not certain if it's its actual name)
I'm having a pop quiz on Monday in English. I'm so totally EXCITED can't it be Monday NOW?! :D I swear, it's not natural. And it's only 'cause well... it's English and I absolutely long for a challenge. It feels like my English is slipping away from me and that I'm just sitting in class waisting time. Hopefully, that will stop now ♥
I'm gonna go and see The Prince Who Turned Into A Frog and then I'm gonna read the Poisonwood Bible. Bonne Journée! :D

Sep. 2nd, 2007 03:37 pmHuge happy birthday to
cupcakegrrl and a late happy birthday to
moonilicious, I hope you're having (or have had) a fabulous one.
I have been watching 'It started with a kiss' now the entire weekend. I saw 28 episodes in two days. Which says something. Man, I love that show. If you haven't seen it already, you should :) Also, I have a bit of a Sims addiction as well so... *headdesk*
I'll try to check my flist later, this is just one of those 'I'm still alive' entries ;) And of course, I wanted to wish the two awesome people above, a happy birthday.

Aug. 30th, 2007 07:24 pmI totally blame
_byakko. Now I'm sitting here, watching 'It started with a kiss' on YouTube (I'm desperate for one episode/day is too little), and squeeing my heart out. She's officially the corrupter of my soul. I really like this series :D I adore the fact that I can relate to both ... erhm... I still haven't learned their real names :P Or at least how to spell them :P Whatevers.
Anyone who wants to watch a really cute and sweet show, watch it :D
