Note about Gossip Girl and UN roleplay reparations

I usually don't talk about Gossip Girl these days but...

... am I the only one who really liked this scene for some reason?



I don't know... Lately, the whole Chuck/Blair thing seems so last season and dragging Blair/Nate back from the dead seems like we know that story already. Carter/Blair was kind of awesome in the sense that they seem to have this sort of mutual ground that I sort of miss from the other Blair-pairings. (and Blair-Serena friendship feels as though there's been nothing of substance lately).

But anyway... I really liked that scene. For some reason. What did you guys think?

We're having a UN roleplay this year (again) at school and now that I'm in the senior class it's time for me to step up and make a speech that won't embarrass the hell out of me like last year - but now when I remember last year it was good fun do more stuff actively in that roleplay and this year I'm becoming Russia! In a way a challenge because I had hoped for a less... I don't know. But nevertheless, I have to start researching Russia as well as I can now so that I'm well-prepared, even if I don't know the subject yet. I'm a dork like that. But if it's something about the environment, I'm going to be seriously displeased. I have a 50 point course that focuses on environmental politics. I hope this year is going to be good.

If anyone wants to help me get info on Russia, that would be greatly appreciated. Are there any subjects which Russia really has strong believes in? I happen to know that their environmental awareness might not be the best in the world... Or so I claimed when I researched it for class earlier.

Now I'm going to watch the rest of Che: Part One with Benicio del Torro ♥ (another reminder why I'm still taking Spanish class!)

I need to remove this cold. ASAP.

I like the prospect of that relationship as well. Even though, for some reason, I suspect that Carter has plans for Blair (read: his involvement with the mystical ~Club). This would make a cool twist.

I still like Chuck/Blair but I think it's time that he chased after her for a while now. And I mean REALLY chased her, not this, "Uh, whatever, I'm just gonna go hook up with someone else then" way that he usually goes if he can't get her immediately... that seriously got pretty old. DNW.

Hehe. Definitely. But still, I think they had nice chemistry :P But obviously, the Stan can't stick around since he has obligations to Kings :P

Yeah. He definitely need to chase her. And the writers need to develop their characters and not just make them run around in circles. It feels like they occasionally recycle storylines.

I started carterxblair last year too.

I know what will happen in the next episode and unfortunately we're not getting more than like one Ca/B scene (with Chuck at that). It's mostly been off screen. LOL at Carter being viewed as the guy who drags Blair down. (Wow really show?)

Hehe. He can't seem to catch a break. I think every girl needs a bit of a Carter in their lives. I think, for Blair, it's a nice break from all the drama. And I mean, the girl didn't get into Yale. She needs a little bit of a break.

i loved that carter/blair scene. i totally squeed. blair does need other people for once and its all gotten really boring with CB so i wanted them to mix it up for a bit. sadly its not going to last long.

Yeah, that's definitely true. And sad. I really want it to last for a bit because... well, I approved of Chuck/Blair before but in a way, I feel that they are exaggerating their relationship so much and pushing it to such extremes that it's even less realistic than before.
