Computer problems (again)

Hi everyone.
This is really weird... My computer acts as though it's playing music (sometimes, but when I play stuff on iTunes, the song won't even start but in Media Player it acts like everything's fine) but I can't hear any sound. It was fine yesterday and as far as I can remember I've done nothing to the sound since then. Any suggestions as to what I might do to get the sound back on?

And LastFM keeps crashing on me. Or at least that's what it says it's doing when I try to shut it down. Then it's going to send this "crash information" but it always ends up saying that it can't for some reason.

Anyone know what the issue is?

(eta: also, I can't listen to sound on YouTube or anything)

The not hearing sound thing happens to me on YouTube sometimes too. I've never pinpointed exactly why this was, but I always assumed it had something to do with loading the site too much. It could be your sound card, too, but I don't know why LastFM would crash... Hmm... I might have to get back to you on that one.

Have you re-booted the computer? Try that and it usually sorts itself out
