I've listened to Taylor Swift's song 'Love Story' so many times that I think it's high time for me to be embarrassed or something. It's just so damn catchy.

I've watched the first episode of Lost in Austen yesterday (starring Jemima Cooper and Christina Cole and a few others). To be honest, it felt weird seeing these characters from Pride and Prejudice walking about, acting as they hadn't done in the books. Bingley falling for Jemima's character for example. I just felt... violated in a way. That sounds a bit dramatic doesn't it? Well, the thing is that ... I want Bingley to be with Jane or me and I want Darcy to fall in love with Elizabeth. I don't want him to cast some inappropriate glances at Amanda and I don't want her to smooch him either. Not saying that the show is without charm, it's pretty cool at times. But what bothers me above all has to be that Elizabeth appears to be this immature girl who just... bails. Which makes zero sense at all. Oh well... I guess I have to watch more later. And poor Christina Cole for always, always, playing the bitchy roles. Can't she get another type of role soon?

Also, I realized that I never said what I thought about True Blood but instead of making a real long comment I'll summarize it with one word: Cute. With potential. I can't wait for 1x03.

LOL! I watched the True Blood pilot the other day, and while I enjoyed it, "cute" isn't exactly the word I'd use to describe it. I thought the plot and exposition were rather well-handed, and the dialogue was good. Acting was pretty terrific, too. I agree with your potential comment, too. I feel this show hasn't flexed enough muscles to show what it can really do, but I'm pretty excited to see just what that max potential is. There is this wonderful interview with Alan Ball about the creative process of the show, that actually got me to watch it. It's audio streamed and is about 40 minutes long - he also talks about 'Towelhead,' which I'm also psyched to see. I can link you if you want.

Well, Sookie/Bill was kinda cute and well... I've sort of started reading the books so therefore the word 'cute' is pretty accessible in my brain since I'm in a particularly cute scene in the book.

I can't wait to see more to see how it'll play out on screen :)

I sorta ADORE Taylor Swift. She's got some awesome songs. They're all catchy as hell. My favorite of hers is I'd Lie.
