Doctor Who: Forest of the Day 'As I watched the episode' Commentary

Wtf? Buffy 'Normal Again' much?

Is it just me or does it seem like Doctor Who becomes serious 'space and aliens' plot oriented every time they try to hide up either bad characters, bad script or all of the above?

Good graces, I really really really loathe River Song. And the script is seriously bad. The actress was fan-frickin'-tastic in ER, why does she have to come on Doctor Who and be totally bad?

"Old married couple". Ewwwugggghhhh. So frickin' bad.

I like the whole Black Widow thing though. And Donna having kids and a hubby - good for her :D

Oh goodness gracious, I could picture a skeleton underneath that black dress and thing and ooooh, how creepy it is.

Well... At least she wasn't a skeleton. I like the whole story with Miss Evangelista. It's creepy and sort of classic in a way.

God, I really don't like River Song. Not because she's confident, but because she's so arrogant.

This is such a great Donna episode. Such a character development I think.

Blegh. Haaaaaaaate her *sings*

I've really come to loathe the world 'spoilers'. ... and saved too.

Doctor/Donna friendship pwns. I could ship them... *innocent look*

Leeeeeee!!!!! She has to find him. *cries* I really really liked him. Do you think he'll return? I'm slightly doubtful but I hope so.

Liam? I thought his name was Lee. Either way, I hope Donna finds him. If Martha was able to find Tom then Donna is totally allowed to find Liam/Lee.

Yeah these weren't the greatest eps. I think I'm just going to forget they ever happened.

In general, I liked it. There are exceptions: River Tam Song (sorry, force of habit), the Doctor "saving" River, the Doctor being unbelievably slow on the uptake of all the people being saved by a computer, the lack of clarity of what happened to the Vashta Nerada, etc.

But if I can watch and re-watch "Robot" simply because it's the first Tom Baker episode and for lols, I can watch and re-watch this episode because it's a) a Moffat episode and b) a wonderful episode for Donna.

And I am completely blaming the character of "River Song" on RTD. Because she's ridiculous and all of Moffat's previous episodes have been awesome.

But, yes! Donna/Lee is adorable and she has to find him again!

God, I really don't like River Song.

LOL me too but my reason was she was so close to doctor. For gods sake he told her his name. But i realized thats because he had to do this in order to trust her in his past. But still. Her look wasn't so friendly i suppose
