Oh my god... Blair ♥ ILU. The poor soul. I'll talk about you in a bit, I'm just going to start off with:
Jenny. God. Hate her. No offence if anyone likes her but... she was good for like... a minute, but then she eavesdropped on Serena and Dan's conversation. I don't care if that's something that smaller siblings do (I have no idea since I'm a big sister myself), but it's just a shitty thing to do. And then I just... She just comes off as having double standards when she's being a biatch against Blair but nice to that random girl. Then again, she was annoyed at Blair but it's really no excuse. She knew that she was going to be treated like garbage by them and (eventually) gain entrance to the it crowd, she saw the contract and signed the contract.
Also, I still think that Chuck has feelings for Blair. I mean, think about it, you've basically run around like a love sick dog around her (something you normally don't do - with anyone) and then she shuns you and gets back with her boyfriend, leaving you to look like a fool. Then she comes back after everyone else has abandoned her - as a last resort. I mean, I can understand his wish to want to hurt Blair a little... or a lot. Unlike Jenny, who is acting holier-than-thou, Chuck doesn't act to be a saint, so I don't really hold it against him.
Also, loved the Dan/Blair vibes in this episode ♥ I'm unimprovable.
Now, Blair apparently has her "condition" back. Poor soul. I understand that considering all the stress she's been under. Seriously, I heart her. She's my favourite character on the show just because I can relate to her more than most characters on the show. I liked that Blair addressed that she and Serena has different expectations etc. because if old!Serena had a preggers scare, she wouldn't have been put off her pedestal, whereas Blair was. But then again, old!Serena had the security net that Blair's friendship provided when she was... well... old!Serena, whereas Blair was basically left out in the cold.
Wish for next season (or well, upcoming episodes or whatever): For Blair to come back to school and PWN everyone. Also for Chuck and Blair to continue their awesome relationship, which I'm still convinced holds great potential.
Nate has such double standards. Seriously. Although I can understand the shock but... dude, he practically did the same thing to Blair with Serena and Blair forgave him. Maybe he's just not so forgiving as Blair. I was so happy in the beginning of the episode that Blair and Nate would finally have an equal relationship (that's the only thing that could make me ship them) but then of course, Nate doesn't give his girlfriend any slack. In the words of Ross on Friends: "We were on a break!" Douchebag.
Can the writers strike be over now, please?
Brrr. There's like... 10*C in my room - at best.
