Pimp me with the most epic, awesome love stories ever. Like... Elizabeth/Mr. Darcy etc. I'm another really romantic mood. It can be in books, TV, Movies... you name it. Some stories that just fills you up, makes you feel good and is totally romantic. Or if you can't think of anything, just really really good and well-written fan fic from any of my fandom(s).

I'm such a sap. And PROUD :D

oh dear, i have no idea. all of my favorite romantic stories end in tragedy. i'd say eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (because my icon reminded me that i can, in fact, like non-tragedies!), but i'm assuming you've seen that.

also, the new world is a breathtaking film, and it has pretty epic romance.

Can't go wrong with Jane Austen. :) My favorite movies, besides the 1995 P&P (although the 1940 one is great for lulz), are probably Sense and Sensibility (Alan Rickman!) and Emma (the new one, with Gwyneth Paltrow).

If you're in the mood for angsty, my all-time favorite is Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton. It isn't really a feel-good love story (the ending is best described as bittersweet), but it's really hot and intense.

... wow, I love my period pieces. LOL

I tend to have a problem with totally sappy love... but you asked for love stories that fills us up, makes us feel good and are romantic. So I say the epicness of the epic love that is John and Aeryn in Farscape... oh man. That fills me up to the point where I can explode.

But it's all mostly due to how long it is. Their journey. Everything they go through together. Yep.

this picture (http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c397/myopiicons/misc/fs/ur010.jpg) says it all to me. That is how perfect love looks to me.

John Thornton & Margaret Hale, Elisabeth Gaskell's North & South. Both the book and the amazing BBC series.
