I just saw Narnia 2: Prince Caspian

Damn, this movie was good. I liked it a lot better than the second one because well... it was definitely darker, and then of course, there was romance. A little romance and a little bit... disappointing. I mean, on a shallow note - who in their right mind would leave such a hunk as Caspian to go back to the "real" world? Susan, I know your brother is oddly affectionate of you but... Caspian! Hunks like that don't grow on trees.

Edmund had a surprisingly small role but at least he got to kick the White Witch's ass once more. Also, I liked how Peter's pride was shown in the movie and his confidence that he was leading them on the right path, but what bothered me was that Lucy seems to be the one who is always right. It's a bit bothersome since well... I know it goes against the theme of the books but still... I don't know.

This movie had me much more involved and it seemed a bit more... worked on, storyline-wise since there was so much backstory to go on. It was maybe a little bit rushed in some places, but I thought it was awesome nonetheless. So my OTPs, if I had to choose any, would be Susan/Caspian and probably Susan/Peter because well... they were all over each other in the first one and I don't really ship them in a serious way but it's fun to let your mind go to the gutter when watching something.

Narnia continues to almost force me to write fics. I don't know what to think of this. I love it though. I feel like writing fics. I haven't read this book so I have no idea how it's supposed to be but the Caspian/Susan ending might... leave something to wish. The conclusion of it seemed a bit... forced and too sudden. There was a fair amount of build-up but really no reward. And in some cases there was too little build-up which made it a bit uneven. But I forgive, create my own canon and then love. To be honest, it's much more fun to love than to hate.

Now I have to go and watch Eurovision with my sister *sigh* Why, oh why?

Eurovision, lol. I love it. It gets more and more wacky every year. :P
