I made a new layout for my journal. This time it's completely new, although I'm still using the same "base" (meaning Component) on this one. I'm a little bit hooked on Eli Stone as I hinted before and I just find the show so awesome that I had to make a layout. It's sad that there's no graphics around, no screencaps. At least none that I could find.

In town I bought two movies (well, we didn't exactly end up in town but at the supermarket where I managed to find two movies for 99 SEK) and those were Bridget Jones' Diary (I've been meaning to get it for a while, I seriously lack chick-flick movies in my collection - the only other is Sweet Home Alabama) and Romeo + Juliet (I've been meaning to see it for a loooong time but the low quality that's out there is not really feeling my hype so I figured... I like both Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio so... It can't be bad, right? My sister was against the purchase but... well... what do you think? Is it a good movie?). It was either that or Shakespeare in Love but I figured Romeo + Juliet was a better choice.

I got an idea for a story and I'll see if I manage to do some writing done. I'm hopeful, but not entirely certain.

I loved Romeo + Juliet and it's really original compared to other Shakespeare movies.

I'm glad you say that. I was afraid that my sister's opinion would be consistent with the general public's :P I'm glad it's not :D

I must say, btw, your icon is awesome :D

I'm glad you think so :D That makes me confident in my choice :D (Persistence does pay off sometimes :))

I really liked that renedtion of Romeo and Juliet. I loved how well the original play translated even into a "modern" environment.

Oh, and you were/are a Lost fan, right? (Or am I recalling completely false information?) Mercutio'll give you a pleasant surprise then.

Yeah. I think it sort of proves that the story is indeed timeless.

lol. Yeah. At first I was a bit surprised to see him there but then I sort of became used to it.

I prefer Shakespeare in Love, but that's just me. I've only seen Romeo+Juliet once, even though I own it. Wanted to see it because Baz Luhrman directed it. But I should probably re-watch it, since it was about 2-3 years ago since I saw it :P

I think you should definitely rewatch it. I think you need to be a certain age to really get Romeo + Juliet since the script was sort of complicated. So I'm saying, rewatch ;)

I loved it too. Now I've seen it twice in two days. The second time my mother watched as well and she loved it even though she hate romantic movies. Which is saying something I think

don't you just love 2 för 99 SEK movies? I buy those movies all the time.

and isn't it funny how EVERYONE seems to have Sweet Home Alabama?

I love it when you find good movies there. Otherwise, not so much :P

lol. That's true but it's because SHA is like... one of the best romantic comedies ever in my opinion ;)
