- So Cameron's character, finds England extremely dull. She does nothing and after six hours she's ready to go somewhere else, whereas Kate's character, who's in the States has the time of her life in Cameron's very expensive flat. Seems kind of... convenient, doesn't it? Maybe I'm just overanalyzing but the fact that it's an American movie is extremely obvious. Kinda "propaganda-ish" in my opinion.
- And then, Kate's character's handsome brother (Jude Law) shows up, completely wasted and they talk for like three seconds and Cameron's character mentions she's in a crisis and that Jude Law's character will probably not remember her in the morning and then she goes all "we should have sex" which is kind of weird. What kind of morality does this movie have? "Women are always desperate for sex so they'll cling to whatever comes near even if they won't remember you in the morning"?
Jude Law and Cameron Diaz's scenes so far are tortureous. I have no idea if they actually have chemistry or not because it's so damn awkward, not in an adorable way but in that... it's just not there. The script is awkward, mainly.
DO. NOT. LIKE. THEM. AT. ALL. ESPECIALLY. NOT. CAMERON. OVERRATED.
Cant someone edit out Cameron and just have the Kate Winslet bits in this movie? Seriously? Because I. can't. stand. it.
I can't watch that extremely obvious hook-up between Jude's character and Cameron's because there's absolutely nothing there. Gosh.
Can't someone tell me what happens to Kate's character and Rufus Sewell's (I actually liked him, is that bad?)? And Jude Law's? I can't watch any more. *sniff* I'm sorry, Kate.
