Siblings, mainstream and production squee

- John Simm
- Alan Rickman as Snape
- Mohinder/Sylar icons that might not be extraordinarily pretty but I've had them for eternity and a half
- Zachary Quinto
This is my sort of... excuse for having some really... not pretty icons. My own icons are by default excused, but... you know, every time I need to delete icons, I see those, ugly icons that I love, and I know I SHOULD delete them but... I love them too much. And my Max/Zack icons I use purely to display the fact that I love them. They are my Dark Angel OTP. I'm still not through s2 and I'm in the beginning but I'm deadly uncertain about Alec. I have Some Assembly Required to see next but I DON'T WANT TO BECAUSE IT MAKES MY HEART HURT!!!
Rihanna's song 'Umbrella' has officially destroyed me. Ugh. I hate-love that song. Seriously. I have no morals. I, for some reason, really like Mika too (he has some really lovely songs and the lyrics are made of AWESOME which is more than I can say for some songs). My brain is being destroyed by mainstream music.
A classmate of mine is currently downloading ALL SIMS 2 GAMES for me! :D Seriously, the regular one, University, Pets, Open For Business, Nightlife, all the item packs, Seasons... you name it. I'll make a mental note to give him a cookie tomorrow.
I'm not feeling the Heroes love at the moment. It seems like all the production promotion has sort of... overshadowed the actual show. Now it's the 'Heroes World Tour', 'Heroes DVD release' etc. and it feels that the world has actually forgot the TV show 'Heroes' and has now started just... promoting it. Hyping the production rather than the actual show. It seems like it's gonna be a lot of anticipation that's not going to be filled this year. I seriously hope that I don't have another Prison Break on my hands.
It's kind of annoying that both my sister and I have a blog. I mean, I can immediately read between the lines and see if she's upset, being polite, fake etc. It's interesting but also terribly unnerving. Feels like we're growing into the same person a bit again :P And that's because we're going to take the same Cambridge Certificate. I'm a bit paranoid but... I've got my own stuff that I wanna do, you know? We have exactly the same subjects, we know each other's passwords to every single site, we have a rough amount of friends in common etc. We're in different classes (but exactly the same subjects) and we have the occasional 'hang out with friends' bit but other than that, we spend pretty much 24 hours in each other's company.

I mean, I can't help pining a bit for him because... omg, he's totally the guy I'd pick (Logan, who?) but Alec is awesome too. I need to finish season two soon. I saw the last episode but everything in between is unseen.
Everything about Zack is so heart-wrecking that it hurts.

well, I have never really cared about Jensen (watched two eps of Supernatural but the show isn't for me... although I kinda want to watch it now anyway *laugh*) but I so loved the carachter. He's funny ♥
I certainly wouldn't pick Zack though. Probably Logan in my case (although hey, I'd go for Original Ciny really ^.~)... but you know, choosing of the boys.
I really liked Logan and his angst *nods* (as well as him and Max and their relationship and angst) I know you don't though, and I respect your opinion ^^
(and hey, I can't help but love when characters I like end up all hospitalized and stuff. And Logan tends to do that a lot)

I have the first season of Supernatural on DVD. The first season is addictive.

I dunno why I like Logan angst... probably cause I love angst, and I already love Michael Weatherly, and in NCIS he didn't get near enough angst (if any, still waiting for major angsty moment for his character. Feels like it will come soon. It has to.)
The thing about SPN is that I have never been a big fan of horrorish stuff. It just doesn't do anything for me (when my friends make me watch horror movies with them I mostly go "omg you're such a stupid fool!" and laugh at points... while my friends are like hyperventilating. But then again Supernatural isn't that deadpan stupid as so many horror flicks are. Thankfully.)
so I might give it another shot. Kinda forgot how many eps I watched though. Possibly three.

Not that I mind of course, I like Rhianna and that is one of my favorite songs on her album, even if it is overplayed. But I really don't understand the deal with Mika. Like, I heard his songs but I just can't get into him. :/

Date: 2007-08-28 09:05 pm (UTC)Personally, I can understand the Mika love because he seems to be quite... logical and normal (I wouldn't exactly call myself an expert) and his songs actually do have some sort of purpose and restores my faith in mainstream music a little bit.. 'Umbrella' is addictive to listen to but I'm not sure if I like anything else she's done. Not sure. Heard too little of her to be able to pass judgment.
