I kind of have a new crack

So, I have a new crack. Matt Damon's Jason Bourne films. Don't laugh. I've seen all three films (Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum) and well... I kind of love it. It's really good acting, great script and good directing. It's not like the Bond movies and it's realistic and just... generally kick-ass.

I love Jason (erhm... David?)/Nikki. Seriously. I adore. So much. Jason/Marie was okay, but I never really felt the love. With David and Nikki, I do. Julia and Matt have awesome chemistry and I love how they sort of... connect while they are in this weird situation without it interrupting the action and becoming awkward.

Of course, nothing really happens, but there's potential. Quite frankly, I do enjoy Nikki and Jason running around in my head rather than seeing it actually on screen, because that would cheapen it a bit. They kind of remind me of Max/Zack *grin*

EVERYONE GO AND SEE ULTIMATUM! I think I'm gonna go to the cinema and see it when it premieres here in Sweden in September. I almost want to write fics. Almost.

I LOVE the Bourne films. Love, love, love. Ultimatum was icing on the cake for me this year. Although I've already seen it, I want to see it again this time with my mother, who also loves the series. Because really, you can't have too much of Bourne!

I did like Bourne/Marie, but I also see the potential of Bourne/Nikki too.

Yay for another fellow Bourne fan! :D Personally, I saw what was nice with Marie/Bourne but I preferred Bourne and Nikki in the end because well... I just thought it worked ^^ More history to play with and that. Ultimatum was great but I can't decided which I liked best.

I agree 100% with everything you said about Jason/Marie and Jason/Nikki, I'm totally shipping the latter like crazy and wanting to write fic.

Though, I kind of spazzed out when she gave him that look and said 'You really don't remember anything, do you?' That line and the one where she says 'You were different' made me a total shipper. It also made me concoct this whole story in my head about how they had a thing when he was part of Treadstone and he just dosen't remember. That would make for such a great angst!fest that I can't not ship them, especially when you think about her whole reaction to the amnesia in the different movies. If they did have a thing and she didn't believe he really suffered from amnesia and was just ignoring their past on purpose... *dies* Poor Nikki.

I really am going to have to go find fic now. GOSH LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME. *huffs playfully*

We should both write fics together ^^ I need to rewatch Ultimatum right now I think. The shippiness in that fic is awesome.

I totally love that too. Although I think they didn't really "got it on", I think more like they had some sort of connection, that was almost something that never really got there. Also, the ending? I mean, HOW MUCH MORE FICS CAN A SCENE CREATE?! :P

Fantastic :D There should be a bigger fandom, or at least I think so. Bourne pwns Bond any day (although Daniel Craig can almost give him competition ;))
