Murders, books and plans
I just(-ish) saw Midsomer Murders and oh, how I love that show. And this episode was particularly funny for some reason. The sarcasm was just pouring in, which was lovely. I think the episode in question was called 'Death and Dust'. I really have to get my hands on those novels which the series are based on. I saw there were two in my local (-ish) library and it will further distract me on my path on reading SWEDISH books. You see, I will fail my Swedish courses if I don't improve and actually read.
Which, Swedish friends or at least Swedish readers, my future Swedish grade is begging you to give me some recommendations on good Swedish books, or at least some that has been translated, because quite frankly, I'm in desperate need of something literature-ish. I tried reading The Devil Wears Prada in Swedish but it's boring me and I've only managed to go to page 40 in my attempts (count them, three). I tried to find the Dexter books alas my library isn't that cool.
Tomorrow, I'll be a training rabbit and work my ass off in the home-gym that we have, also I'll be perhaps watching Supernatural and then maybe some Sarah Connor Chronicles (to see if it's any good) and then perhaps sigh a bit about John Simm and then some about Ellos.se (oh, the clothes that they have there...)

Well, when I say á la Tolkien I sort of mean elves and people called Borin and shooting with bows and arrows and they are on the search for a powerful gem that are being kept by goblins high up in the mountain Gorgul and they have a dragon on their side but the good side have a magical sword and a chosen one that creeps out of the shadows to proclaim his throne. That's basically what every plot is about :P
I had an idea today that I would write a Swedish film script involving vampires. I'm still a bit hyped about it. :D
I consider myself mentally... not Swedish :P I can be a bit patriotic at times but English is definitely the language I use more.

omg shock!
unless you say "noooo, not yooou! argh!" and hide under a table
*laugh* yeah... I'm quite tired of the Quest plots.
There are some though that are not "omg lets find the magick doohickey and become kings instead of the lowest of the lowest! Yay!"
I want a fantasy novel where everyone on the good side dies!
I started to write such a book like when I was 13 or something. Came one chapter XD With a girl all cliché with prophecy and crap going on of course. But the first thing I wrote was the epilogue where well, the evil ones prevailed and the prophecy that said she would take a throne or somethign meant a throne in Death's realm and oh lala she died wohoo XD Together with everyone else.
Oh my, it was a good thought but I will probably die if I find the first chapter and re-read XD
Do it! Make the movie! Yay!
heehee, then get out of the country as soon as you can!
I consider myself not human XD I'm still waiting for them to come and take me home.

Friends are so much fun and I bet we'll get along famously, don't you think? :D
Why don't you rewrite it? I'd read it. Just because I'm sick and wired that way I suppose :D
I start to get all these ideas and I might actually do it, in the end, but I have no idea how to write a script so I'll run by my dad's and borrow his book on the subject I suppose. I mean, Swedish movies can't get any *worse* so... Speaking of, seen the movie Storm? It's REALLY good, considering. Once you sort of get to the end, it's all so incredibly fantastic. Great acting, great plot, directing... (then the fact that a friend of mine is in it has nothing to do with it :P LOL)
Oh, if they do - say hi to Agent Mulder from me :D Or Elvis, depending on where you end up :)
Why should I leave? LOL. I like it here :P Sort of :P

and now you can read all my secret stuff! haha
well err, it's not that secret everything is just flocked automatically ^^;;
why? because if I write anything longer than a well, short story it goes into cliches or something
Swedish movies can't get worse no.
And nope, not seen Storm. I seriously hate everything in Swedish when it comes to movies. I just can't "suspend disbelief". And it just feels stiff and icky. I can't do it XD
I will xD
oh well, if you like it then stay *laugh*

Writing = love :D Writing = life
See Storm. It's groundbreaking (for a Swedish movie) even if the beginning's a bit off, it becomes amazing after a while. Go. Rent. Now.
Staying? Oh no, that's an even more terrifying prospect than staying. :P I'm so getting out of this country :P Eventually :P

but my diurnal rythm is a bit off *laugh* But I will, soooon.
sleep well and sweet dreams and all that ^^
I had something like Creative Writing in school (100p individuellt val). That was very nice ^^
I will try to remember!
good for you ^^
I want to go to London and open a bookstore/cafe with a friend. Need money first though... bleh

Creative writing as a SUBJECT?! Now, I'm in heaven :D:D:D (maybe I could somehow make my project around a movie script.... :P) And there has to be a drama for beginner's class (I'm a sucker for every type of storytelling and I want to learn them all :D).
Good :D
Money bloney... They do seem to make a mess of things, don't they? *sigh* Hate money.

yep ^^
an entire year!
mwahaha, the final little project in it was to write a complete short-story. I actually wrote fanfic *laugh* (my teacher was all fascinated by the phenomenon)
Otherwise it was small things like character descriptions, news article, environmental description, weird kinds of describing emotions... you get the drift.
YEs, make your project around a movie script! Sounds very good ^^
Are you allowed to?
As a nature student I had to do something natural science oriented... bleh. Found a nice angle though XD (did a thing on HIV and AIDS)
me too, we should totally have a society like in Star Trek

The only thing I really suck at is environmental descriptions. I somehow always think they are beside the point and I just wanna move on with my story :P And news articles... I dunno, I suppose I could do them :P
I'm not sure. Last year my school didn't have a 'you have to have social science in it' (I go a social science line with an emphasise on language and international negotiations) but I suppose I can always say that I'm through the story portraying how minority groups are treated in society or something like that :P
Star Trek? How's things there?
no subject
(although thankfully my Chemistry teacher had some sense of it and made us play with Star Wars LEGO to my immense delight XD)
environmental descirptions are important though, so it's good to practise
news article was like, to learn how to write that way since it could be useful in fiction too.
*nods* at least that's something.
"Vampires are a minority!"
in Star Trek they have no money. They don't need it anymore. Which then means no povert and starvation etc (they have replicating thingies) And people don't do stuff to get money (like we do today) but to like get intelectual stimulation, better themselves etc. It seems like a nice world.
Oh and there're spaceships! XD
no subject
"In fact, they are such a small minority that they don't even EXIST! :D
Cool.
(I can write you know write like 'and the wind whistled through the ghostly white, still leaf-dressed trees' but if I'm suppose to write about how the tree floor looked and describe all the lines there, I'll get bored and stop by 'wooden floor' :P)
no subject
you just have to stick to putting them in forests XD
At least you say 'wooden floor' though, and not just 'floor'
