This is what happens when I'm obsessing

You see, I have spent the last four hours (while working) thinking about The Master of All Things (if you don't know who I'm talking about right now, I suggest you go and read my entries for the past few days). And it struck me how similar this scene with the Master is:



to this scene with the Doctor:



Both of them go out of their way to impress their girls (erhm, okay, The Master have a few more hidden agendas than The Doctor in season one but still). Both of them are pretty much showing off and both of them bear witness to "the end of the world" (sort of, the end of the world that we knew and the beginning of the Master's).

Agree? Disagree? Never thought about it before?
