I'll let these two pictures speak for themselves. It's canon! Master/Doctor FTW!
How I love Lucy and The Master. I think they are both such interesting characters and their backstory intrigues me. I wrote a fic called Secrets and Truths that deals with how they met, or at least how they met in my mind *g*
*sigh* They are so cute.
Suddenly everyone realises why entire Britain voted for him.
Just to add the reasons why Lucy/Master intrigues me so.
No work and all play makes the Master a funny man.
Evil mastermind? Absolutely!
The Master looks slightly psychotic in this shot but it's so wonderful that he taps the drums. Absolutely fantastic.
Oh, Lucy Saxon. How your character seem awesome. I hope the finale will treat you well. I'd die if you did.
"My faithful companion." *is dead* The Saxons are one sexy bunch. And the fact that the Master has a companion (who happens to be Lucy and the're married) is even more awesome. I really think that this episode really did a good job to portay the Master as the Doctor's complete opposite. They have so much in common but are so vastly different nonetheless.
Another reason why their relationship intrigues me so.
I love this shot. It's so awkwardly angled but on the same time not.
Martha looks as if she's got her head filled with air and about as interesting as she's been all season. She's such a non-dimentional character that it's insane.
"Yes, I own you all."
FINALLY MARTHA GROWS SOMETHING SIMILAR TO A BACKBONE!
But Mr. Saxon haunts her cellphone with his sexiness and she fells her defences falling...
But the Doctor takes control of the situation and takes the phone.
The Master's reaction is instant.
They start having phonesex
And the Doctor tries to ignore all the ways that this affects him.
This is the Doctor's 'I have to save him' face...
Teletubbies is EVOLUTION!
The Master is a child at heart. He loves his Teletubbies (and we love him which means that we love Teletubbies also)
The Doctor eating chips? Made me smile. Oh Rose, I miss the days when Doctor Who had two leads instead of one and his sidekick.
A) Beautiful shot. B) I totally love the Master's backstory.
The Doctor at work.
He totally pimps her to everyone.
Because she's so pretty (and kinda looks like Julie Benz)
The Doctor watches from afar like the jealous ex he is.
He thinks that the Master can't see him or sense him, but he totally does. Because the Master pwns like that.
Just to clearly display like they are evil, they show them smiling and pretending it's a movie. *sigh* I love them.
This totally reminds me of the scene in Doomsday where the Doctor says: "I can't wait!". Sometimes, I'm certain they are brain!twins.
The minute the Doctor enters...
The Master knows it. MASTER/DOCTOR PWNS EVERYONE!
He's enjoying this bit faaar too much (as did I!).
Oh noes! The Doctor is caught! What to do?!
The Master seems to have a few ideas.
It's laser!
"Omg! It's bigger than mine!" (Funny note, Simm and Tennant actually did compare them on set and that's totally hilarious)
Rockconcert!Saxon. Here comes the drums!
This shot totally makes me believe that the Master puts as much faith in Lucy as Lucy in him. Because he trusts her with his identity, his true identity, while I'm sure he could just as well have killed her or something when she found out.
He totally loves surprising her :D (Kinda like Nine and Rose)
And she loves it too. This is why I'm so certain that the Master puts a little bit of colour into Lucy's life and that's why she loves him so.
The UST from this picture is killing me.
Just to finish off, the scene/line I hate most of all in Doctor Who - ever! Martha... either grow your own character and stop being Rose 2.0 or just... stay away. I can totally see the crazy (not all) Martha fans go: "She'll save the day! She'll come back! Obviously she's so much better than Rose!"
