The return of the Doctor Who

What I think the writers don't understand, at least this is true in my case, is that if Martha wasn't Rose 2.0 I probably wouldn't mind her with The Doctor. For example, I loved what-was-her-name (a couple of hours since I saw the episode) with the Doctor and although John Smith and the Doctor was acted out as two different characters - he was still the Doctor. As the love!interest said: "It's like he's forgotten that he's got the kettle on and that he has something to get back to but not sure what it is". He was still the Doctor because the Doctor is so much more than alien. He'd just forgotten about it.
MY HEART DIED AT THE ROSE MENTION. And John's sort of lingering: "I think she went away..." or whatever it was made me smile. However, the Rose mention wasn't the best part. The episode overall was good and if they keep this up and reduces the Martha!puppydogfortheDoctor moments, I might just have enough interest to squee again.
The day when DT departs from this role will be a sad, sad day, indeed. *hopes it isn't for another two years*
I also created a GreatestJournal in case that LJ for some reason becomes unbearable. Not that I will ever leave LJ. I'm too addicted to this drug. It's just good to know that it's there in case anything happens.
Suddenly I feel like writing more Doctor/Rose fics, however, the Micah/Molly cuteness is still vivid and the Mylar and Petrellicest love is still strong in my heart. We'll see how it goes :D
