Poor penguins

Welcome to my flist [livejournal.com profile] maeh :D I hope you'll have an awesome time here :D

I just saw a documentary about polarbears and penguins and I cried people. I cried. (well almost) To think that all of it will be gone if we, nature killers as we are, continue to treat the Earth as we are doing right now. It's a sad, horrible thought.

Anyway, now I'm off to watch a documentary about Columbine High School. I'm being very socially aware today it seems. Well, that's what going to dad's does to you.

PS: Sorry for any spelling errors.

O hay thar. :D 'Course I'll have an awesome time here. I'm already having an awesome time here.

Oh, lately I've also been painfully aware of the climate/nature/animals problems, so I understand you there. I've basically been trying to do things like turning off the light if I'm not using it, throwing out stuff to the trashcan not on the lawn or wherever etcetera etcetera, such little things that my friends (even parents) refuse to do. I know it small but hey, I've got to start somewhere, and I'm helping as I can. Dx

Have you seen the movie "Elephant"? Fantastic and sad movie about a high school campus and students there, one day from their lives that ends in a Columbine-like massacre. Very haunting and worth to see.

Toodles. :D

Awesome :) I'm glad you're enjoying yourself :)

What I find so incredibly frustrating is that you can't really do much about it, especially if you're not over eighteen and live in your own appartment. You can turn off the lights and stuff but the trouble is convincing your parents to do something about it. The climate is something I'm growing more concerned about as each day passes.... Seriously, people throw stuff out on the lawn? O_O

I haven't seen it. I seems very good from what you're saying. This might sound shallow but: are there any famous people in it? :P

Yeah, when I even suggest small changes to our lifestyle my parents laugh at me. D: Eh, at least I'm trying.

Hah, don't worry about it, it's the first thing that I think about when I hear about any movie too. xD No, no famous actors I think, I didn't recognize them. I think it's good though, it really gives you the feeling that you're watching ordinary people from a random High School.

But there is a quite fiiiine guy playing the part of a photography interested boy (Elias... the actors name is Elias McConnell, google him, there are a few pics. ;o)~

lol. I am aren't I? Well, now I'm watching the video where Zachary Quinto and Sendhil (Mohinder) comments on a Heroes episode. ♥ them.
