lol! I'm sure they have an answer for that. If it's like a letter I'd only use as many stamps as a letter requires. Usually 5 SEK for in Sweden and the equivalent for abroad.
:P Well, it's the only post, so of course it's Posten. Like Systembolaget or Bilprovningen.
That's really a lot. Considering I also have to buy Christmas cards and I'm gonna send those to ten people. *le sigh* So I'm pretty much expecting the whole thing to go around 300 kr. Oh joy... ehm, I'm on my sarcastic mood today :P
Ouch, ten people outside of Sweden? I think the post office has special Christmas stamps that are cheaper than regular ones but I don't know if it applies only to mail in Sweden or international ones as well.
My sympathy is with you... I bought a present for my cousin in US for 50 crowns and sending it cost like 45. :P
I'm gonna attack the poor postal office with question.... oh wait, I just remembered that my town doesn't have a postal office *headdesk* damn cut-downs. Oh well, where you buy the stamps I suppose I can ask there.
Stuff like that sucks. And the sad thing is that I don't think I can afford it. I feel kinda evil.
I miss the old post office before they ICA-ed everything. When I was little I wanted to work there because of all the packages they had... never occurred to me that people who work there aren't allowed to open them. ;)
Maybe you could get cheaper Christmas cards or something? The stamps should be around 100 crowns if you send them to ten people... back when I used to send Christmas cards I bought very cheap cards for like 2 crowns each (Hey, it's the thought that counts :P)
And I thought Stockholm was expensive... well, you could always be creative and make your own. We can always blame the Christmas capitalism, seems to be that stuff is getting more and more expensive. *remembers a time when sending a letter or postcard within Sweden only cost 2,50*
I guess you just ask for a international stamp or something when you buy it, I've done it a million times. It should cost like 5 or 10... (and it's only one stamp)
