I have a new layout on my dear LiveJournal. I have also uploaded several new user icons to my dear little LiveJournal. The theme of this new layout is OTP's. I didn't put them in any special order, I just put them as I thought was best; two slash pairings in the middle and two het on the sides. To explain them for those who do not know all it's Buffy/Angel, Krycek/Mulder, Harry/Draco and Mulder/Scully. The first are from Buffyverse, second and fourth from X-Files and the third from Harry Potter [yes I'll try to keep the use of that word as little as I can].

I told [livejournal.com profile] killprettyx that I would never make icons again but it seems as if my head does obey my demands. I didn't find any decent H/D icons [besides one that I saved on my computer and now uploaded] so I made a few myself. Look at the previous entry and you'll see one. The others you can go and look in my userpics list.

Is it just me that thinks that Firefly is a show that's just so suited to be a summer-show? In Sweden, we have these series that goes five days a week through-out the whole summer, and I think Firefly [which vaguely reminds me of Vintergatan 5A and Vintergatan 5B] would be fantastic for something like that, although on a much more suitable time than 9 AM.

I'm currently writing a fic from a certain fandom which I will make it as my challenge not to mention to much. Is anyone interesting in betaing it? It's a challenge so therefore I had to put Harry/Ginny in it [and therefore make as a close clone of JRK's cheesy view on the two] and Hermione/Ron [I will keep it in denial though].

GAH! I need to write Harry/Draco after I'm done with that - yes I'm obessed. I might get my all time OTP after all... Just maybe. Even though I never considered myself a slash person. It's just that The-Fandom-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named is so slash friendly :P Or do I need to remind everyone about the comment 'obsessed'? :P

Thank you :)

Firefly would be excellent as a summershow and you could really shorten the episodes till about 15 minutes and have TBC there, for everytime they fly off with Serenity from somewhere and the music starts playing it's like it's a little end of that part of the episode *mourns with you*

Thank you :) OTP's are amazing, aren't they? Which of those do I have in common with you? *secretly hopes that one is Harry/Draco :P*

I'm afraid I do not share the Harry/Draco love, although I do see it, its just not for me. Mulder/Scully and Buffy/Angel are my big OTPs. Mulder/Scully was my first ever ship, they've always got a special place in my heart. And also? I love your Skinner icon. Lmao. It made me laugh when I read it.

lol. Read HBP yet? *I have the lousiest memory of who read what on my flist* Anyway... There's some seriously HUGE vibes there. Just for a little fanfictioner to add the rest ;) And voila - we have a H/D couple ;)

Mulder/Scully was actually the second last ship I ever had [it took me to s4 I think it was to become Mulder/Krycek] and Buffy/Angel was the first of the four listed in the header. :)

Yep, I've read HBP, I definately saw the huge vibes there. My big HP ship is Sirius/Remus, so I have no hopes of seeing anything happen between them *shakes fist at JK*. Lol.

LMAO. That's why you have fanon :) Let's put it like this - Harry/Draco or... Harry/Hermione?

Harry/Draco most definately.

You've read all of HBP yea? Hmph, JK seems to kill off my favourite characters. I should stop liking characters, its their death sentence. Thats my two favourites gone now.

Yay :)

Yeah. I've read all of HBP. [God I loved that book] I think it was time that Dumbledore died, he just wouldn't fit in the next book, Harry would never be as strong as he needed to be to face Voldermort.

You have the same disfortune as I have with character lovin'. Sort of like on Lost or anything like that. They either ruin the characters, or kill 'em.

Yea, I agree that it was time that he died and that Harry needs to go it alone, as most 'heros' do. It didn't come as a shock to me as I'd guessed he'd probably be the one to die - actually, I thought he'd be the one to die in the 5th book, even with all the rumors about it being Hagrid dying, I was totally shocked about it being Sirius, I was in tears when I read that. I wasn't so upset when I read about Dumbledore, but it was still sad. I didn't enjoy the book as much as I have done some of the others (3rd, 4th and 5th being my favourites), I felt that the plot was perhaps a little weak, and it took me a while to really get into the book, I felt it started a bit slow, I think JK was concentrating too much on laying down the groundwork for the 7th book to be based on.

lol. No worries. :) I think though it was great that this was sort of a basis for the 7th book and not like a standalone as the others. I wouldn't want to read a 1000 pages book that's the 7th one and I guess I love HBP so much because of the basis and clear view we get on the 7th book :)

Yea thats true. I didn't hugely dislike the book, but I felt it had a large fanfictionish feeling about it, with all the romancing going on all over the place, and Lupin/Tonks?! I'd have never seen that coming, but I've seen hundreds of fanfiction pieces about them. I know they are teens, and that is what we teenagers do tend to go through in life, I just felt that..I dunno, I wasn't keen on the way JK wrote some of it. Maybe it helps that I don't like R/H at all, so I'm not sat there wishing for them to get together. I don't know, the book just didn't leave me with the huge 'wow' factor that all the others did, still a very good book though.
