I saw a preview of Smallville and it's strange to say that I'm actually pretty excited about the show now. I'm so happy that Aaron Ashmore is in it and well, it just feels a bit as if Smallville is a bit... strange at the moment. Was Lex flying? Or something? In the preview I mean.
My mother is annoying me. Sure, I can be a bit lazy but she's being like... a bitch most of the time. I'm fully aware that I sound like a lazy teenager again (which I am, to my defence) but it seems as if she's just... well, I suppose I'm not quite alright with the idea of her husband coming here on Sunday.
In other news, Libby and I are starting a Lark school (I've decided to try and not use *I wrote sue lol* LJ names because that looks weird to me) where we'd get Melissa George (when she has time) and David Anders to teach and they would show us all the extra material Blowback and After Six had that the writers completely forgot. *nods* Yupp, that is what we shall do.
Just about two hours and twenty minutes left of work. Working this summer I must say, or at least the last three weeks, haven't been that bad to be honest. It was actually quite enjoyable, when I think back on it because it means I'll have a lot of money in my wallet and considering that I have two child support money I haven't recieved yet - I'm going to be living la vie grande these next months. If I get over the "OMG I have to save everything" phase, I might just subscribe to X-Men (finally). But perhaps not. The Office Season 1 begs to be bought. And Hex Season 1 as well. Oh, and Veronica Mars (although there's no way I'm buying season two 'cause... hello? Not a LoVe supporter therefore the season pretty much annoyed me even though Beaver kicked ass).
Oh, must go now. I hope you all take care and also - should I change my mood theme? New layout I have as well. lol

Date: 2006-08-18 12:09 pm (UTC)That's a long story, but if you haven't seen the finale for season 5, take it from me that it's something big.
If you don't care about spoilers, I'll tell you what happened.

Date: 2006-08-18 01:20 pm (UTC)Meanwhile, Clark found out that someone was going to become the host of Zod. It was going to be Lex, and Clark wasn't able to stop it.
So Lex ends up possessed by Zod, and trying to take over the world. He traps Clark in the Phantom Zone, there's a riot in Metropolis and it looks like Lionel and Chloe will die, as they are pulled from the limo by a mob.
Slowly, all the lights go out on Earth. (Zod used Brainaic to cause a virus to take out all electrical things and computers--to cause panic.) Clark is going through space inside the crystal/Phantom Zone thing.
And as the riots cause fire through the streets, Zod/Lex is standing on top of the Lexcorp building, looking down in satisfaction. Lana arrives (somehow fought her way through the chaos) and says "Lex? I'm here--was this just another test?"
She doesn't know that it's Zod in there and not Lex. He stands for a moment, and looks down at her like he's calculating something. Then, he grabs her and kisses her.
And that's where it ends.
It's an incredible episode, and Rosenbaum does a great job portraying Zod inside Lex as a different person. (Since there aren't any glowing eyes or a different voice or anything.)

Date: 2006-08-18 02:50 pm (UTC)Also, Lionel has been channelling Jor-El all season, so he helps them out with trying to stop Lex. He's kind of like their Oracle.
On the original airing, the trailer for X-Men 3 aired on Fox, so I tried to watch that and prayed I didn't miss anything in the 5 minutes I was gone. I didn't miss too much, just part of Lana's reaction to Lex telling her about his powers.
Babbling is fine with me, so you don't need to worry about that. *laughs*

Date: 2006-08-18 03:04 pm (UTC)Lois and Martha were on a plane to go to some sort of speech that Martha had to be at. Fine/Brainaic (one of his doubles) started flying the plane towards somewhere cold, or in the opposite direction of where they were supposed to go--I'm not sure.
Suddenly, the air is slowly seeped out, and Martha collapses. Lois is next to collapse, before she can reach the air mask or anything else.
And that's the last you see of them.
Basically, everyone is almost dead by the end of the episode.

Date: 2006-08-18 09:57 pm (UTC)Yeah, you seriously need to see the 5th season finale of Smallville ASAP! I've seen it twice and still can't get enough. Possibly even better than the 4th season finale. ^_^
And I just gotta ask this... are you a Lois fan? (Or do you just enjoy the character in general?) =)
