I just read that according to JK, Dumbledore was gay. Now, I'm going to discuss this and I'm pretty certain that everyone has read DH by now but if someone haven't, for some reason, turn away from this entry, just to be safe. 'Cause I'm not cutting this *turns rebel*

I thought it was absolutely awesome. And I completely loved how she in the same article, made a comment about the fan fiction.

Apparently, Dumbledore was smitten by Grindelwald (squee!), which in my mind makes it a little bit like an older generation of Harry/Draco (squee!), however with a little bit more of a tragic outcome than H/D. Also, completely loved how she mentioned the fan fic. LOL

Is it wrong of me to go and search up some Dumbledore/Grindelwald fan fic now? :P

Now I'm just waiting for the outing of Sirius and Remus.... :D

It's been a really long time since I wrote anything about Doctor Who. Possibly because lately there hasn't been that much to say and quite frankly, I did not appreciate Martha much. And that's not because of my shipping preferences. That Doctor Who marathon I was going to have is going to have to be another time than the next coming week because school is kicking my Swedish arse. Not that I'm complaining right now.

Anyway, what I was thinking about is that lately, I've been wanting to write fics, but it seems like the Doctor/Rose stuff, especially season two and three, are something to be embarrassed about these days. To be honest the reasons why someone doesn't like them or why some do have been lost on me. I just remember the basic stuff: they aren't liked. Or that seems to be the general idea. Kind of reminds me of Swedish politics but that's another story.

I loved Doctor/Rose and their story. I started seeing Doctor Who probably in mid-season two and I started with season one at that point. So I knew that Christopher Eccleston was going to be changed into David Tennant, although I did not know the specifics. Anyway, I loved Doctor/Rose and I adored them both as characters and as a relationship. Rose with her humanity and The Doctor with a... well, brute sarcasm that would almost put Dr. Gregory House to shame.

In season two the dynamic changed. Even though it was extremely clear in season one that Nine had the biggest crush ever on Rose, the season two Doctor was... well, the dynamic changed from mentor-student to a bit of Bonnie and Clyde or well, if to believe some boyfriend-girlfriend. Season Two was filled with fluff. Carefree fun, and I liked that because, the alternative - not so good. Having the Doctor brooding and making sarcastic comments might work for a while but 13 more episodes with that in season two would make the whole thing feel like an overused concept.

I'm probably babbling with this since I'm basically writing this to make up for my Doctor Who-less journal.

I was watching a vid and suddenly I wanted to write a fic. But then it just felt like... it was a cliché. For me, Doctor/Rose has suffered greatly because I joined in on discussions, joined forums etc. where a lot of people looked down upon Doctor/Rose fans and new fans in general and considered them to be less intelligent. It's kind of going through a car crash. You drive along and you're completely fine, then the crash comes (fandom) and then you come out of it really shaky.

It's not just that fun any more. Whenever I watch an episode (especially season two because it feels like that is when the wank stuff happened), I just hear the negative comments or the "Doctor/Rose 4EVA!1!!!" things in the background and it makes me... sad.
