starsthatshineI wanted to start talking about this totally amazing episode I just saw of Smallville. God it made me happy. There were Clois scenes but I'm labeling this episode as a Clex one. Why you might ask?
Because we get six thousand major Clex scenes in one episode: it begins with Lex giving the team new t-shirts or whatever you call it. God that made me seriously happy. The scene was just amazing. When Clark said 'You can't buy back my friendship' I just saw Lex thinking 'Maybe it's not your friendship I want' LMAO. Crazy fangirl, yes that's me.
Anyway, moving on to brighter fields. The second one was when Lex comes and saves Clark from Jason (God, I'm still smiling when I think about it). That scene is suuuuuch love that I ADORE it to death. Seriously! I feel like I want to covert all Smallville fans to Clex shippers so they can see that goodness.
Anyway, Lex taking care of Clark is such love and the comment 'I could've sworn there was a cut above your eye' So he noticed!!! YAY! Bring me my ship goodness :) Yes, I'm insane and no I haven't checked my brain recently.
Anyway, the third scene is when Clark comes to the mansion and Lex shows him that the invesigation is over. "I can feel mine crawling around the corner, your friendship helps me keep that at bay, you remind me there's still good people in this world" or how it was... It was still such love.
Now you might ask, the scenes must be over... No sir! Lex came and watched Clark play - without his suit! IF that's not love, I dont know what *grin* I swear, who can not see the love between them... I need a fan fic! Does anyone know a good one, a good one that takes place just after this episode? PLEEEEEAAASE <- see, me begging nicely.
Also, you might wonder: wasn't there any more pairing moments that count? Well... Clana got their moment but it was nice that Lana has moved on from Clark while Clark is still struggling to get over her. It's nice to see that it's not just superboy that can move onto Lex ;). It strikes me as suddenly more realistic Clana than before. Good.
And there was Clois scenes too. I adore it in the end when Lois comes and tells Clark that if he hurts Chloe she'll kick his ass. Loved that, the two of them are such love, even though this episode the love was greatest between Clex. Lois is nice and I hope she'll be back for next episode, I actually don't remember how Smallville was without her in an episode. It's weird how fast I've started to like Lois.
Do I have anything more to add... Well Chloe was silly and I hate to admit that she looked cute cheering on Clark, the poor guy needed that - poisoned and having a hard time with his team-mates.
Anything else... Hmmm.. I'm warming up to Jason/Lana but I'm still waiting him to turn evil... I mean why would she go for guys that can last now when she's finally dated some of THE Clark ;) lol
I think I'll stop there - if you wanna hear more fandom-Smallville talk - comment ;)
Just one little last note: I loved how cute Clark looked when he said "Because I've never done what I think we're about to do." Cute.
And also that Lana was good this episode. See, even though I'm sort of former Clana, I like Lana ;) (even though 90% of the fandom doesnt) Kristen Kreuk is a good actress (in my book) but the writers give her weird moments and a weird script.
End of Smallville review that turned out to be a mile long this week :P How will I live another week without Smallville?
I finnished my entry for the Angel ficathon assignment, now I just need a beta. Anyone interested at betaing some sort of bad non-angst somewhere s2 B/A fic? I'd really appriciate it.
Also I just need to wait for my Friendship ficathon assignment to be betad *hint hint* so I can continue with that... I'm sort of proud of it although it's not my best work but I'm working it out good, it's going to be a long one because I can't figure out a plot... but something is going to happen to Willow... hmmmm.
