Faith,
tragicamente, here is your birthday ficlet. Spike/Faith
Spike ran up and down like a crazy housekeeper: he wanted everything to be perfect. He wanted to cry to the moon and scream out how much she meant to him, even though she wouldn't understand even if it came hitting her right between the eyes.
Sadly enough, the help he had wasn't helping as much as he'd like them to. Willow was sitting on a chair, pouting about unfair it was of Spike to say mean things about Kennedy and then force her to help him.
Dawn was sitting with Xander, playing checkers while Andrew made a little commentary over the whole thing. Giles was in the kitchen with Buffy, talking about what they should do about the remaining Slayers - a conversation Spike thought Faith should be in on.
But Faith wasn't there; she was out doing God knows what with Angel. Spike felt a bang of jealousy, sure he knew that she'd never betray him like that, no matter how much of a slut she wanted to seem, but everyone of his girls seemed to run off with Angel. The only one that hadn't was his little Bit, but she'd run off with Angel's son instead.
Spike finally placed the cake on the table and announced that everything was set just as Buffy and Giles stepped out of the kitchen. As if someone had alerted the Powers that Be, the door opened and everyone quickly got on their feet.
When they saw it was Faith all of them yelled 'Surprise!' and Faith looked like someone had asked her what opera Verdi was famous for. She stared at everyone, and when she took in their expressions she turned to Spike, who kissed her forehead.
"Spike... My birthday is in two months..."
THE END
It's such a classic theme but I couldn't help myself.... And I know it's not 100% good but I hope you like it anyway
