The Kiss
Buffy couldn't believe herself. Here she was, in her bedroom, having the most passionate kiss of her life. Usually she would go on a date or something with the guy before kissing him, but saving her life once or twice had to count didn't it?
The feeling in Buffy's stomach was heaven, kissing him was heaven... God, she wanted more... She pressed herself closer to Angel, hoping to kiss some part of his mouth that had been “unkissed” so far. But just as she did that, he pulled away...
"What? What is it? What's wrong?" Buffy asked confused, didn't he like it? What was it?
Then he turned and faced her, growling - in the face of a vampire. The first half second she feels herself getting cold, and then she lets out a true scream of horror. He runs to the window and jumps out, she hears him falling on the roof over the veranda. She goes to the window to make sure he's okay, as her mother enters the room...
This wasn't happening…
Dealing
Buffy couldn’t understand this. Angel had left her all alone – again. First time he went to hell, a place where she had sent him to be damned. She had thought the sadness would kill her and that nothing mattered anymore. Then, he had come back, when she had started dealing and Buffy grown content with the situation that he was back. Now he had just left again.
Buffy sighed, looking into the wall. Every cloud has a watery lining. She just had to deal again and maybe he would come back. Dealing, dealing was the key.
Meeting:
Note: This is my version of the meeting we never got to see.
Angel walked through the doors of the old warehouse and even if he would blind he couldn’t miss her. She was standing there, beautiful as ever, with hair like a goddess. Oh, he had missed her so much. The scent she was wearing all the time, the person she was, the light in her eyes… But suddenly he wasn’t sure that this was the girl he once had known. The light in her eyes were missing, instead they were replaced by the face of extreme sorrow. He couldn’t understand this. What had happened to his once so shining Buffy?
Neither said anything, just looking at each other, feeling that there was no need for words. Angel eventually went over to her and kissed her lightly, and then he hugged her warmly, telling her that he had missed her.
“So much as happened.” Buffy told him, Angel said nothing. He just wanted to hold her. “So much that I’m not sure I’m me anymore.”
“Schhh…” I told her, holding her tightly, not even wanted to let her go. “Don’t worry about that now…”
Now she relaxed in my arms, leaning on me, kissing my cheek. It was a simple and common but yet powerful moment. The love he felt for Buffy was almost so real and huge that he could feel it flowing in the air. She was his, his forever.

They stood like that for a long while, saying nothing and thinking about nothing except for the other one that was standing just so near the other one. For Angel, scenarios crossed his mind what would happen if he returned to Sunnydale with Buffy, and Buffy thought how it would be just go to Los Angeles with Angel – both scenarios didn’t quite work out. The both scenarios just ended with that Angel lost his soul…
Suddenly the silence broke with Buffy crying slightly. Angel looked down on the small blonde in his arms and asked her how she was.
“Ask me in a few years…” became her reply to her lover, slightly sarcastic and slightly depressed. Angel gently kissed her cheek again and looked into her eyes while she told him – everything. Buffy told him how it was being out of heaven, how it was being so dead but still very much alive. Angel said nothing, just listened as the words came out of Buffy’s mouth.
“I think you should tell them.” Angel spoke finally, very seriously. “The only thing worse than to feel so dead and have no one that understands, is having no one to talk to about it.”
“I don’t know how… They thought they dragged me out of a hell dimension… How am I supposed to tell them?” The lovers sat down on the floor of the old warehouse, snuggling closer together while Angel gave her his answer:
“You haft to. Even though they thought wrong – they did what they thought was right because of their love for you. Love isn’t easy to get, Buffy. You owe it to them to tell them.”
Buffy looked at his seriously. She knew he was right but on the same time… A part of her didn’t want to. It was a weird feeling but… She wanted to be alone sometimes… She was alone all the time – she had been alone over 3 years. Her life had become more and more depressed since Angel had left (not because he had left more that life had become so much harder without him) but now she had hit rock bottom. Not even a meeting with Angel made her forget the sadness in him, no matter how happy she was to see him or how much she loved him. She wondered if telling her friends would make it better when not even Angel made it better…
“How do I know it will be better? I feel like I’ve been alone so long…” Buffy confided in the love of her life. She looked at him, searching for a sign of hate or disgust – she felt as she deserved it for being so self-centred. But she didn’t find it.
“You aren’t alone no matter how much it feels like that… Believe that and everything will get better.”
Buffy leaned closer to him and gave him a kiss. She felt the familiar spark fly through her body and how she never wanted to end the kiss. Just then she remembered the curse, the curse that was for Angel… and herself. She could never feel the same complete feeling she had that day on her birthday that had been the happiest day in her life – it was the day after that was hell.
“I love you, Angel.” Buffy said, looking into Angel’s deep chocolate eyes.
Why was everything in her life this way: hard, painful and very dramatic? Couldn’t she just be a normal girl, having a normal boyfriend? Where along the way had she lost that? It wasn’t her calling that messed things up, Buffy was sure about that. If she wanted to, she was sure that she could have a normal Joe as a boyfriend but instead she went after every creature of the night she could find. Every and every, after Angel left there was just Spike. Riley had been confusing and the spark that they once have had quickly had faded. Why was she doomed to this?
“I love you too, Buffy. More than you’ll ever know…” He whispered to her softly, as if the words would fade away if he spoke them out loud.
Buffy felt warm, and home in Angel’s arms. She didn’t want to leave, but she knew she had to. Everything in her life was about what she had to do… But not right now, she could stay in Angel’s arms a few more minutes and that was all she cared about.
*hids* I'm leaving on an airplane now to no where land.... I didn't really think but contribution was good enough but my brain wasn't working when I wrote it... :P
