I just saw the newest Gossip Girl episode. Click to read my thoughts underneath.

Gossip Girl - 2x15 Gone with the Will:

Okay, I just have to start with one thing because I was really bummed out about it. I thought there was going to be some sort of Chuck/Jack/Blair confrontation about what had happened on New Years because it seemed that way from the promos, but... did I miss it somehow or was I misinterpreting the trailers? I'm so sure that Chuck said 'Blair wouldn't touch you' and there were all these lines that I can't seem to remember hearing, but whatever.

The whole lost lovechild story is really boring and to be honest (no offends to the parents), Lily and Rufus sort of bore me. Especially lately. I don't know. It just doesn't have that much to do with the fact that they're old but rather the fact that the lovechild thing is so... gross and I don't know. It just throws every storyline in connection to that one off balance.

I didn't much approve of Jenny this episode which is, I suppose, very common for me. She's wasn't over the top annoying but ever since the show started I haven't managed to be able to warm up to her character. There's nothing I can find redeeming about her but that's me.

The Chuck-Blair-Jack parts really pleased me and the brief Blair-Dan scene was nice. I don't know what it is but those scenes really work. And I loved the brunch! It sort of felt like a flashback to 1x02 in a way and I hope they continue to do more completely exaggerated upper-east side stuff like brunches (and I demand to see more shopping scenes!). Sort of funny how in 1x02, everything went in white, now everything was more earthly coloured. I approve! :D

What did you guys think?
