It was kinda like a Jane Austen novel. Except I wasn't anxiously biting my nails or screaming like a lunatic in this one. I do know what you mean and I was a bit torn between the two suitors. It never felt like Duckie got the attention that he deserved (Andy didn't even think about calling Duckie after she was stood up by Sir Rich can't remember his name atm and when they were fighting, it didn't feel like it was bothering her at all). It was kind of uneven.
At one point in the movie, I thought Sir Rich's best friend (Steph? Or something?) fancied her. But I don't know. It was sort of weird.
