I never got into Robin Hood either but Merlin is utter hilarity. Seriously, one of the most hilarious shows I've seen and it's pure entertainment with a lovely dose of drama. The past two episodes (7 and 8 I think, or it's 8 and 9) have been particularly lovely if you ask me. I definitely recommend it. It's about eight times better than Robin Hood ever was.
