Some more Torchwood talk because it seems I cant stop writing
It kind of sucked that just when I started to like Tosh, she was killed off, you know? In season one she rarely had any character moments except in 'Greeks Bearing Gifts', which was basically all about her which at the time I thought was pretty pointless. She had been nothing more than just an occasional sidekick and had rarely received any chances to show the caring heart she does have, you know? Instead I sort of interpreted her character as dependent and sort of... I don't know, I guess the problem is that I don't really know or remember how to define S1!Tosh.
It kind of bothers me that Torchwood is such a rollercoaster. I mean, I would never in a million years consider Torchwood to be some sort of epic drama (mainly because of the big WTF? supplied by the writing department and weird character storylines) but the finale of season two was pretty damn... perfect when it came to Owen and Tosh's deaths. I thought it was a little bit different compared to most TV deaths I've seen in my dead and instead of some big declaration and 'I love you's they just sort of... accepted things. At least Owen did, Tosh just carried on (poor soul) and pretended that she would make it.
Anyway, if there was anything I could wish for for the coming season it would be these things:
1. Stop with the twisted Rhys/Gwen/Jack/Ianto thing. It's driving me nuts.
2. Stop writing cheesy one-liners and trying to make Jack seem like he's the shitz because most of the time he just comes across as a complete jackass.
3. Stop trying to make it overly obvious that Jack has a natural tendency to jump everything he sees (I'm being half-sarcastic here, but seriously, it just sounds so incredibly lame when Jack tries to like... ask someone something in a way that can be mean two things. It makes him sound like an incredibly cheap character and like John can't act and that the writing department can't write. Seriously. - It's not flattering to anyone.
4. Make Andy part of the Torchwood team (although that it sort of unlikely I suppose since they need a tech support and a medic and Andy are neither, judging from what we know).
I really feel like I want a 'Exit Wounds' Tosh icon? Where can I find good ones? Do you have any specific links?

Give me show suggestions! Seriously, hit me with them. And I think that once Internet starts working again (it still doesn't, I'm at dad's computer) I'll catch up on Skins, even if the two first episodes of season two made me a little... meh.
