The trouble with Amazon

My X-Files DVDs haven't arrived yet so I emailed Amazon (man, it was difficult finding a link) and they replied and then there's this part of the email that I can't quite understand:
What does a replacement order mean? That I order something else instead of what I ordered? Or? Also, if you prefer to be refunded for the lost package... Like they give me money for my agony (because waiting is an agony ^^) or if they just ignore sending the order and give me back my money? Or?
Help me. I'm a bit confused as you might notice
Also, please let us know if you would like us to create a replacement order, or if you would prefer to be refunded for the lost package.

I hope my BSG box gets here within the ETA at least ^^;;;
