I can't comment on Danes' personality or person since I don't know her and I've never seen an interview, but I can guess that she did care, she just made a different priority. If the man falls in love with another woman, despite whatever the circumstances may be, I feel that the man should not be with the first woman (wife or anything like it) because even if he stayed it wouldn't be a healthy relationship. I'm not taking sides really since I feel I have no place in doing so but I can't understand the bashing since it seems a bit unfounded (not entirely but a bit)
