Episode Reaction: Heroes 2x03 Kindred

First off, I really liked the new way Sylar was introduced. I really liked that first off all, he was wounded really badly and that he now doesn't have his powers any more. Although I don't understand how they can disappear during the healing process. Maybe they're just gone temporarily? Although from the way Candice was speaking, it sounded pretty permanent. And it also implied that there are duplicates of everyone's powers. Oooh, a second Sylar, now that's a frightening concept (although his power isn't actually to kill people and the only reason he turned to his wicked wicked ways was because of his character and upbringing).

Also, Sylar/Sylar? Candice has been reading too many fan fics ;)

Mohinder/Matt/Molly is too twisted, but yet so very delicious. In a way, Matt and Mohinder seem to be pretty close but on the same time not know each other at all which is pretty interesting in my opinion. Also, while Mohinder was hugging Molly he totally gave Matt a look that said: "I know I was sleeping with Sylar but let's not bring it up in front of the kind, 'kay?". That's my theory and I'm sticking too it.

Okay, West isn't that terrible after all. He has his good sides and his bad sides, just like any other person. But when he lifted up into the sky with Claire in his arms... The romantic within me squeed. Any girl dreams of being swept off their feet. Also, I just love those moments, for example when Claire and West kissed, when it comes so apparent how lonely and how much of an outcast Claire really is. If she'd been back in Texas, I don't think things would've progressed that quickly, but I think she's a bit like "He's like me... ohooooohhhh... and he likes me. Yay! I'm not lonely any more". But West's hatred towards daddy dearest? I smell trouble. Delicious trouble.

Hiro. Well, I want to mention what seems to be an obligatory statement these days: ANDO, YOU LOOK FIIIINEEE!!!

Back to Hiro. I like David Anders' character sooo much together with that girl that is supposed to be his destiny. They were just perfect. For some reason, I'm not feeling the Hiro/Girl love all that well. I just think Girl is more suited with the DA's character for some reason. Call it instinct. The smile DA had when Girl kissed him turned my brain into goo.

I liked DA in Alias but I so adore his character on Heroes. Even more than Mr. Sark. Man, how I adore that man.

TV Gods, let's let DA's character/Girl last. I like. Pretty please? With strawberries on top?

Very pleased with this episode. Two thumbs up.

Also, if something happens to Alejandro, I'll be mad. I love him so. He's so his sister's keeper. The incest fic is just waiting to be written. Anyone written any?

I'm starting to think that Sylar's gotten the virus, hence not able to use abilities even after killing Candice and taking hers. Makes sense, though why would the Company (as I believe Candice was still working for them at this time) be interested in keeping him alive just for that? Should be interesting to see his storyline unfold and if he gains the powers back or that he'll have to regain more.

That part where Candice morphed herself into Sylar was freaking hilarious. "Or perhaps something a little more familiar" XD Seriously, Sylar/Sylar is the new canon.

Perfect! Precisely. I love the M&M&M storyline though I'm not particularly a Mohinder/Matt 'shipper, since my heart lies with the Mylar. Still, cute nonetheless the setup for this; and their squabbling in the beginning was absolutely priceless. I was grinning like a maniac, and literally squeed when Molly was all "Mohinder, you're home!" This show = awesome.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks they saw this! I hope this isn't true, because I don't want HRG to die and I don't want Claire to do something stupid just because she found someone just like her.

Yeah I think Sylar might have the virus too. I think Peter absorbed all his powers and even some of his evil personality. That look that Peter had when he was choking that dude....it was very Sylar-ish.

OH THANK GOD, I wasn't the only one who saw it like that! I was seriously thinking that I've spent too much time on the 'Net and that I need to go hang around some non-fannish people for a while.

I personally LOVE the Matt-Mohinder-Molly domestic scene. Molly is utterly adorable and Matt being all concerned about her nightmares and then throwing Mohinder into the mix... Cuteness ensues.
