To be honest, you've completely made my day just by thinking up a fic that combines my two absolute favourite things in the whole wide world. The fact that it's actually got a plot, great characterisation and a deeply enjoyable moment of dawning realisation for Sam is just a wonderful bonus. (And Sam and Gene have already got their hands all over each other! Yay!)
