Yeah, fan fics are good, but the thing is that I really want to like Martha/Doctor, like you do, for example, but canon makes it impossible. I wonder what kind of drug the writers have started. Doctor Who used to be about two leads - The Doctor and Rose - they both had their emotional moments, messing things up, background etc. but now it's one lead and its sidekick. I wanna like Martha, but it just makes it difficult because well... she has like three facial expressions and there's not much more I've seen from her.
