Part of my Story

Seeing as how I'm a tiny bit bored, I just thought I'd post a little part on my Harry/Luna story. See, I'm obsessed. Not because of the pairing or story, but my little ego needs feedback so I can make it as good as This Christmas or better. Yes, I'm a feedback who- ehm, working girl.
Chapter Three: Something Wicked That Never Came:
The next day, Harry woke up with a huge headache, he wasn't sure why, but he had a guess that it somehow involved Hedwig and Neville's dance shoes he'd worn in the fourth- Oh, wait, that was just a dream. Harry shook his head. Today was definitely strange.
Harry glanced over the dormitory and saw that most of them had already left for breakfast. Harry was surprised that Ron hadn't wakened him like he used to but on the same time, it was a sort of relief to know that they gave Harry his space. They didn't ask him how he was handling everything too often and that was a gift that Harry valued more than most things.
At breakfast, he saw Luna sitting by the Ravenclaw table. She was easily spotted because she had about two seats on each side of the table for herself. The other Ravenclaws were avoiding her, something not so unusual but it seemed more than usual. When Harry walked up, he immediately spotted the reason. Next to Luna sat Chester, happily eating a piece of cheese.
Luna looked up and gave Harry a shining smile. “Hey Harry,” she greeted and then turned her eyes back to Chester, “How are you?”
Harry looked down on Chester too, trying to figure out what exactly it was that was so amusing with that stuck-up bird, but found out nothing. But he was glad it was a source of joy for Luna.
“You know,” Harry began cautiously, “You aren't supposed to bring your owl into the Great Hall.”
Luna nodded. “I know. I wanted to though.”Luna brushed some of her blonde hair behind her ear and gave Chester a friendly poke. “He kept me up all night,” she added, only having eyes for Chester, not a hint of anger in her voice.
Harry just stood there, greatly amused. “I take it you are good friends.” Luna nodded again and Harry still couldn't believe that Luna found that being kept up all night by Chester wasn't a bad thing.
Then Luna looked up, her eyes shining with gratitude. “Thank you,” she said emotionally and Harry suddenly felt rather uncomfortable, “for letting me take care of him, I mean.” She said and stroke Chester's back, who was clearly enjoying the attention.
Harry gave the owl a glance, not at all seeing whatever it was Luna saw, “Eh... I'll see you around.” Luna simply nodded as Harry walked away, still playing with Chester, almost alone by the Ravenclaw table.
When Harry sat down between Ron and Hermione, Ron looked over at the Ravenclaw table. “What was that all about?” Ron wondered, looking back at Harry.
Harry shrugged. “She just wanted to thank me for letting her take care of Chester.”
However, Hermione didn't comment and quickly glanced over at Luna's direction before returning to her pumpkin juice. Harry somehow got the idea that Hermione was worried.
THE END
Totally unbetad so far so therefore there isn't that much constructive yet. If you have any feedback at all, whatsoever, I'd be most grateful. Even if you might not like the ship, or even Harry Potter, I'd just be grateful for the feedback.
