I'm dyiiiing here. I just found like... the best review ever of the Da Vinci Code movie. Unfortunately it's on swedish. Found it on DN.se But you who can read it - enjoy :D

"Man kunde absolut tycka att boken var spännande, men grund, och man kunde också tycka att boken var spännande och djup. Jag tyckte att boken var djupt ospännande. Nu är det sagt - det kommer att prägla fortsättningen.

Min bitterhet kan givetvis också bero på att jag (som så många andra) faktiskt skrev den här storyn själv för några år sedan, långt innan Dan Brown kopierade den.

Jag kallade den för "Port-koden" och den diskuterade möjligheten att Pärleporten fanns gömd i Navestad utanför Norrköping. En lokal släktforskare jagar sanningen tillsammans med en snygg tjej från Ektorp (enda kvarvarande ättlingen till stans första kommunalråd). Polisen är dem i hälarna, ingen vet varför.

Svaret på porten finns så att säga på orten: Adderar man alla portkoder som finns i hela Norrköping kan man lista ut vägen till Linköping. Kruxet är att ingen vill åka dit! Och inget förlag ville ha min story."

And I bet most of you have seen this but OMG!!! I love Ian McKellen so bad :D And I just wanted to post this here. I think the quote is just so good. I'm not nessicarily dissing the bible but... come on... gotta love original thoughts.

Actor Ian McKellen, 66, shocked his Da Vinci Code costars during an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show this morning. The film has inspired controversy from the Catholic sect, Opus Dei, which has asked that a disclaimer be added to the film to clearly delineate the movie as fictitious.
Broadcasting from the Cannes Film Festival, Lauer addressed the cast:

“People wanted this to say ‘Fiction fiction fiction!’ How would you have all felt if there was a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie? Would it have been okay with you?”
“I’ve often thought the Bible should have a disclaimer at the front saying ‘This is fiction.’” McKellen responded. “I mean walking on water? I mean, it takes an act of faith.”

McKellan went on to say he found the Bible “somewhat preachy” and called the ending “a bit of a downer.”
