starsthatshine: (doctor who - your heart grows cold)
Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] feminosity. I hope you'll have an awesome one.

I thought that, given the chance, I would describe today/yesterday rather uneventful. I RP:ed on [livejournal.com profile] bringmehope a lot, went to school for the first time since the break and I started on a Swedish novel. So, not so much going on that I could at least tell you, my dear flist, about.

But the world has a way of sneaking up on you, you see. I woke up and heard a kitten cry in the middle of the night. Which is odd because the kittens we do have, have no reason for crying that loudly or during that long duration. (you have to excuse any grammar errors I might make - it's laaaaaate) Anyway, I went to check it out and surprise, surprise, it was a new-born kitten. Apparently Mimmi is having kittens. So I woke up [livejournal.com profile] lauren_sark (ha! I'm evil! :D) to be certain and then our mom. The kitten was cold, sandy, bloody and apparently pooing. Well, that's good. It's got lungs and can poo = function on its own = no birth defects of major importance.... I think.

Feels kind of odd.

Well, now I have to finish this entry and go to bed. Weird, wouldn't you agree?

I am determined to think happy, creative thoughts but it seems like English class blocked my brain from my thinking process. I can't do anything at the moment. It's insane. We had creative writing in class and we were going to write a short story and I decided to write... well, something as uncreative as a short story about a girl who gets abused, which was pretty mainstream for my class since no one really could muster anything else.

I have two plans:

Plan A:
- Read Harry Potter and finish that god damn book already so I can move on with Goblet of Fire which I conveniently happened to leave at dad's.

Plan B:
- Rewatch season two of The Office.

Now, which plan do you like best? Which is the best way to occupy my mind? I'd naturally gone with RPG:ing (obsessed mind have I), but Emma is offline so that requires some thinking... So, plan a or b?

I was going forward with something I was referring to as Plan A in my previous entry, with reading Prisoner of Azkaban and as I was sitting in the living room, I heard that Hany had never even heard about Harry Potter before (!). He's Egyptian as some of you know and maybe it's because they don't know Harry Potter that well down there (what do I know?) but we ended up watching the first movie and I just adore it. It's just got this feel to it - it's fresh and not as mainstream (at least it doesn't give that feeling) as the other movies. I'm gonna return to the HP fandom a bit but I'll be looking for the exit sign as soon as there's even a hint of bashing in it. Which means that I will join no communities whatsoever :P I want to keep myself as faaaar away from the fandom I can get.

The Harry Potter fandom is dangerous territory.

But anyway... I'm not going go into details about my ships but they are as follows (however, not necessarily in that order): Ron/Hermione, Snape/Narcissa, Harry/Draco (however, I've given up reading fics about them), Sirius/Lupin, Cedric/Fleur and Snape/Lily.... oh, and Harry/Luna. I haven't read OOTP in forever so it almost made me forget about poor Luna.

Also? My hero? SNAPE!!! I love you baby! *huggles him*

... Yes, it has nothing to do with the sexiness that is Alan Rickman.... Ehm.... Or something.... *hides*
