(no subject)

What am I supposed to say about my life right now? It's decent to tell you the truth, it doesn't feel like I've mentioned a lot about the on goings of my life lately. I've been caught up with my crush of a new fandom (X-Men isn't new but I'm still almost blissfully ignorantly in love with everything in it) and I've started try and advance my writing by writing more and more often.

Fun news concerning that is that my dad seems to be quite content that I write. When we had guests yesterday he kept bragging about me as if my writing was this huge accomplishment. I've told him about Law of Nature and the number of hits that it has reached (more than I ever dreamed) and he seems genuinely proud of me. He has yet to read anything though, but he seems impressed by the fact that I write all this in english. He kept braging about me to one of the relations to his wife and wanted me to explain fanfictions and how huge it was and then he said that I seemed to be very talented. Also, earlier today he kept joking with me and my sister that she was a member in my fanclub. Writing has become something I really adore. I'm not the best at it but it has taken me a while to truly realize that it's pretty much a learning process, I'm not the best writer around and nor do I wish to be, I just want to please other people and get a message out there.

I miss talking to you so much. There are so few times I comment or have time to read but I miss talking to you guys. I hope you don't hate me for being übersocial. The summer is good, but I feel quite lonely. I hope that someone calls and wants to do something soon. But we'll see. I've never won a popularity conest and I don't dare to call anyone myself.

... Yeah, my selfasteem is really up there :P But it's not something I let stop myself.
