[Poll #1381760]

As much as I adore Dollhouse, after seeing the SCC finale, I might just vote the latter. I love Joss Whedon and I want BOTH shows to get a new season, but... I don't know. I really really really really really really need a new season of The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Seriously, I'm desperately in love with Amy Acker, and I adore Joss, but I don't relate to Dollhouse all that much, and it certainly doesn't make me laugh and cry and FLAIL madly, like SCC does.

It's such a tough battle and if one should be fair, SCC has had a lot more time to establish whereas Dollhouse is just finding its ground but... I don't know. AFTER THAT FINALE I'M COMPLETELY... SHOCKED AND SO MANY OTHER ADJECTIVES.

That was a tough one! I do believe that Dollhouse could grow up to kick some serious ass if FOX weren't fucking around with Joss' vision for the show. But, but... SCC! I just watched the season finale and dammit, that show is just too damn good to die. I *need* season three! :(

I cannot think of anything in this comment that I don't agree with 100%. I know what you mean. Season three at least for me feels almost like a physical requirement. Without it, I will be eternally kept on my toes. I need closure.

I voted Dollhouse because I've only ever seen 2 episodes of Sarah Connor Chronicles :/

OH MY GOSH. You need to watch ALL OF IT. Stat. ♥ It's wonderful ♥ How come you haven't watched the rest?

I don't know! I quite liked it even though I'm not a huge Terminator fan and Summer Glau is a huge girl crush of mine, but I never got around downloading the rest :/ Everyone's going crazy on the latest episode and it kinda makes me want to see the rest :) I'll try to do so during the holidays!

Do that! :D I wasn't/isn't that much of a Terminator fan myself (but the second movie was sort of decent and since I like Nick Stahl and Claire Danes I sort of liked the third one as well even if the non-them parts really sucked), but the show is so amazing. Cameron/John ftw :D

I love Dollhouse and think it's developing really well and has so many layers and possibilities.
On the other hand I loved the first season of SCC and that finale was just epic, but I wasn't that interested in the show midseason to end. The finale turned it around and got me interested again and I need to know how it will develop. I love John/Cameron and hope she returns one way or another (and even if she doesn't it might be interesting to see how John reacts to Allison). So, that show has potential as well and I'd love to keep it, but I'm voting Dollhouse.

Somewhere in the middle, I do think it became kind of dull as well with SCC, but that finale... Oh my gosh. I also think that the lack of John and the lack of Cameron made that half of the second season dull. Not because the other characters couldn't handle being on their own, it's just that they are two central elements to the show and without them featuring that much, the half of season two seemed occasionally redundant.

Right now, I'm really really hoping for SCC to get a third season but I also really really want Dollhouse to do well and get a second season. I just sort of want it to be sort of groundbreaking in a way? Right now, it seems that - at least for me - that the idea is groundbreaking but the representation of that idea is being some what restricted by network politics.

SCC, man, all the way. That finale blew me away. And that had to be human Cameron, YAY! Can't wait for the new season, if they get one

ITA. And I sort of want John to not be... totally pleased with human!Cameron/Allison. Because, you know, I want that 'but you're a robot' angst in the mix. It's weird, strange, sort of wrong and yet so unbelievably awesome.

I voted Dollhouse since I absolutely love the show. But I also kind of cheated since I've never seen an episode of Sarah Connor Chronicles. :/

Hehe. Totally understand that. Although since you've cheated, I say that your "penalty" should be to watch SCC. It's really great and the Cameron/John-ness will absolutely blow your mind. It's kind of kickass in general (although when you get to the middle of season two - hang in there - the finale is so worth it because OMG IT WAS AWESOME)

After the first episode I pretty much hated Dollhouse, and haven't gone near it since. I will never go near The Sarah Connor Chronicles because I have no interest whatsoever in the Terminator franchise. (Never seen any of the movies)

Going by the fact I don't hate it, my vote went to The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Around episode 6, Dollhouse becomes really really good, so jump to that point if you want to give it another chance - you won't miss much (I think). And SCC's awesomeness doesn't really lie in the Terminator franchise thing (at least I would say so since I never really got the whole Terminator thing) but it has really good actors and their character development with John is really interesting and Summer Glau is super.

No, definitely never going near Dollhouse again. I've read the reviews of others on my friends list of episode 6 and beyond and it really doesn't appeal to me. That, and I may be one of the few that isn't that impressed by Eliza Dushku.

If The Sarah Connor Chronicles ever seems like it would interest me, I might watch. So far, I doubt it--it just doesn't sound like the sort of show that I usually like.

What do you generally look for in a show? One of the main reasons why I find it so appealing is because they're sort of dealing between when are you human and stuff like that. What makes someone human. Is it biological? Is it something where you make choices? Can a machine ever be human and if so, how should morals and stuff like that apply then? Sort of like Battlestar Galactica. Also, there's this John/Cameron thing which is really really awesome, I think, just because it's so relevant to all of the questions above and so on.

Sounds like I wouldn't care for it, then, since I never liked BSG. I tried a couple episodes, and it wasn't something I liked.

Stuff I like is more along the lines of Buffy, Angel, Doctor Who, Highlander, and Firefly. I liked Stargate SG-1 for a little while--until Ben Browder and Claudia Black popped up.

Tough decision. Really tough. SCC wins though because I feel more connected to the characters. I'm more invested in them. Plus the guy who plays Derek is yummy.

I absolutely adore both shows and wouldn't want to lose either of them, but if I were to choose, Dollhouse.

TSCC is a lovely creation, I love the expansion of the Terminator mythology and it's been kickass since it premiered no doubt about it, but because this is a continuation from the Terminator films the mythology of that will live on. I see Dollhouse as a shiny new toy and it only had a limited amount of time to show the network it's worth saving, besides Joss has some pretty interesting ideas and because it IS shiny and new I want to see where it progresses. With TSCC we already know what happens, at least to the extent of the films. So I think saving the one that's all new as opposed to the one most already know and ended its second season is probably the bestest of choices.

I honestly don't know, I mean, I'm really enjoying Dollhouse but SCC has been so epic lately and I've been watching it longer so I feel like I owe it. It's too hard!

I'm with you. I'm really falling for Dollhouse but it's still new. I won't be as distraught if it's cancelled.
I will be HEARTBROKEN if they cancel TSCC. it's so good! it ended so good!
there's so many unfinished stories! I'm really quite invested in the show, and I don't want to lose it!

BSG just ended. I need a show with robots and questionable morals!

I've been meaning to watch Dollhouse but haven't gotten around to it, so I voted for SCC because the season finale seriously needs a proper ending. I hate loose ends and a show like SCC deserves a chance to tie up its loose ends. Plus, I don't wanna say goodbye to Cameron just yet. *whistles*
