I just saw The Unusuals with Amber Tamblyn (pilot episode) and it was pretty frickin' awesome. ♥ Loved it in a good way. I think it has a lot of potential of being really good. What did you guys think about it? Did anyone see it besides me? How were the ratings?

I watched that today too, because a lot of people had been enthusiastic about it. I thought it was a lot of fun, and quietly intriguing.

I think I will, especially if it feeds out interesting little titbits every episode. There's a few things I definitely want to know more about.

I actually had to skip a few scenes because my dad was going to pick me up so I'm going to try to rewatch it later. What are you most interested in? I'm (naturally) really curious about Walsh and I can't wait to see Casey's family dynamic and more of her background :D

I'd love to know how Casey became a cop, and what exactly is going on with Delahoy (how many brushes with death is he going to have/survive?) Is the young cop (I forget his name) a good guy or a bad guy? And exactly how fierce is Banks obsession with staying out of danger (and if he was so worried why become a cop?)

Me, me too! I'm so glad you watched it AND enjoyed it! It seems to have gotten some attention and good reactions, I'm rather pleased. I'm not usually into procedurals save a few special ones, but this one has one of my fan faves Adam Goldberg in it. Adam Goldberg = inevitable awesomeness, usually in quirky form. I probably wouldn't have tuned in otherwise, but I'm glad I did. It was rather enjoyable and should be a good watch!

As for the ratings, they seem to be healthy enough. I really think some networks are lowering their standards since people in general are watching less network tv and have other things to choose from. I guess we'll see.
